The hotel itself was fine. But paid for 2 nights, but person booking us in only added us for 1 night. Had to go to the desk to get key card reset on day 2. Parking charge paid on arrival, but again there was an error, so had to pay further £12.50 when checking out. Shower gel dispenser empty on arrival. Not enough towels for 2 guests. No proper bath mat, had to use a towel on the floor slippery & dangerous. Not worth its 4 star rating

Lovely staff, the quality of the room was excellent. The hotel felt very upmarket. Very good value for money. Dog Friendly too!

The hotel was well located and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very small, it was difficult to get in and out because the door was so close to the bed. The bed was extremely hard and one of the mugs had a large crack. Staff did give us a duvet to put under the mattress and did replace the mug. At that price though I had expected more comfort.

This hotel is never a 4 star accommodation. It's more 2 star. Location is great..Breakfasts are great, otherwise the hotel needs a complete overhaul. Thread bare carpets throughout. Creaking floorboards throughout. Small bedroom No 305. The parking system is disgraceful. Yes they only have 20 spaces to accommodate 90 odd rooms at a charge of £12.50 per night. But they allow non residents 2 hours free parking. The manager at breakfast looked great with crisp ironed shirt, but the other staff were shabby with non ironed shirts...Maybe not even 2 Star.

We quite often stay here but could you please sort out the remotes on your tvs (never been once and not had an issue with them) and one large towel for two people isn’t enough. Apart from that our stays have always been good and your staff have lovely.

A hotel staff member entered our room at around 4:30 am whilst we were sleeping. I shouted at them and they left. I'm not quite sure why they came in, even if they got mixed up and thought the room was empty, what's the reason to enter a room so early in the morning? Most hotels don't start cleaning until after checkout time. We felt very unsafe and didn't sleep for the rest of the night. In addition, there was no hot water (had cold showers), only provided one towel for 2 people...the area surrounding the hotel was pretty loud and could be heard from the room due to single glazed windows.
