The hotel was good. The main downside was the dimness of the lighting in the room. We are bright light people and found it quite gloomy. Perhaps have the main light on a dimmer switch?

Awesome value for money, incredibly kind and helpful staff. Good breakfast included into the price. We really enjoyed our stay there. The location is not the best but this is what we intentionally chose for available parking and lower price. Also I respect the pet-friendly hotels. Even though this time we were travelling without our dog, but I did notice that the hotel was pet-friendly and it making it even better.

Lovely stay at this hotel. The staff on the reception desk were professional and friendly. Check in and out was easy. The whole hotel is very clean. The room was comfortable and immaculate with everything as advertised. Breakfast was delicious. Parking is an easy process. Buses to Exeter City Centre are a short walk away. Enjoyed our stay.

Booked with Expedia and there was no mention on my booking confirmation that you had to pay £6 to park. The sofabed and pillows were dirty in our room (stains/hairs). The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. The wall/bedhead creaked making it difficult to get to sleep. Staff at breakfast were not there to greet you and inattentive to guests. Options were basic with poor quality coffee, especially the mocha latte. The receptionist lady was kind and helpful, but the actual hotel itself was sub-standard. Would definitely avoid for next time.

Could do a better job with cleaning. It was a bit noisy due to a work crew on site, and the AC in our room made lots of noise even though it was off. Everything else was fantastic.

Excellent service and very dog friendly 😃

The hotel has a large car park but was exceptionally busy as expected. The hotel was very modern and very clean, with the staff service being excellent, friendly and welcoming. We stayed with our dog and staff even gave a “doggy bag”! However, the room carpet was very wet not nice to walk on barefoot which caused the bathroom to be dangerously slippery. Perhaps when they clean carpet don’t use so much water. We were given more towels to make floor safe. Double bed is not very big. As a family room it would have been nice to have more electrical sockets especially these days. On the whole a good experience with a clean modern hotel room and bathroom, shower not exceptionally powerful. Breakfast was adequate with a dog friendly area.

Exceptional staff

We had a good stay at the hotel overall. There was a mix-up upon our arrival but the reception staff were incredibly professional, polite, and handled everything smoothly. They even offered us complimentary drinks, which was a nice touch! Breakfast was okay, but one morning it was incredibly busy and we had to wait for more cutlery and food to be replenished. However, the friendliness of the staff more than made up for it. What stood out the most was the politeness of the staff.

The room and bed were up to standard but the bar food offered was well below standard. Not only was the menu lacking in choice but haven chosen the food, it failed to be of an acceptable level and was totally over charged.
