We had a lovely welcome from all member of staff, including Reception, cleaners and breakfast staff. The room was very warm and we struggled to cool it down. All in all a pleasant stay, with the Park and Ride and transport links being very convenient.

Bedding was so itchy and one the pillow case was so dirty Felt very unclean and ended up getting a rash 11 o clock check out lady started banging on the door saying you need to be gone now Was very dirty and rude bad experience

Lovely hotel but spa very run down

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and clean and the hotel had a nice spacious bar and breakfast area with a good choice of buffet style food. The spa however was quite run down; the door didn't shut properly for the sauna and it was quite dirty looking overall. 2 great little gyms though - although not all machines were in working order. There was also constant swimming lessons with instructors bellowing all the time which lessened the relaxing atmosphere of a spa weekend!

We stayed at the hotel this weekend for a wander around Chester from reading reviews about how close it was to the park and ride. The staff at check in were lovely, but when we got to our room we could hardly breathe from how warm it was in there. There was already a fan but it was hardly blowing any air out, so we asked for another one and our request was noted and told it would be in our room when we returned from Chester. When we arrived back quite late at night we found there was no extra fan and had to phone down to request one again. Our sleep for the 2 nights was completely non existent as the heat in the room kept us tossing and turning all night, there was absolutely no air coming from the fans. From leaning on one of the pipes it appeared that it was boiling hot! Which was making the room a sauna. Okay stay but won't be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Lovely hotel, staff really friendly, pool and leisure facilities lovely, set in nice grounds. Breakfast lovely, do not recommend the meal deal for the brassierre only a couple of choices but that was the only negative to our stay. Chester centre a short drive away would recomnend and will return

We were there only for a day and didn’t spend the night but stay was comfortable, staff was very helpful and kind. Location is great. Best thing was pool, jacuzzi and sauna! It was included in our stay and made the most of it.

No Hot Water in room.

I wouldn't stay here again as they was no hot water in the room and therefore no shower etc.... Only after complaining to the reception desk was i allowed to use the Spa facilities to have a shower. staff were very apologetic but could do anything about the problem.

The room was boiling hot. Windows where open and fan on but still not hot. Which lead to poor sleep and bed a to firm for me.

Nice hotel but unthoughtful other guests

Unfortunately, our stay was spoiled by other guests. Some guests were noisy all night, running outside our room (ground floor) and shouting 'hello!', some were outside singing at 2am, and there was nearly always someone smoking outside our room, under the No Smoking sign which meant we had to close our windows. Service in the restaurant wasn't great and I would not recommend eating a meal, my fish was overcooked and samphire literally black and bitter as it was burnt. Some staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful, I think we just picked an unfortunate weekend.
