Nobody Cares

The hotel is falling apart and nobody seems to care. Tha air conditioning in our room didn’t work and it was a waste of time reporting it as nobody cared. The phones didn’t work but reporting it was a a waste of time as nobody cared. There didn’t seem to be a Manager of the hotel and staff seemed to be all casual employees who didn’t care. Property badly needs renovation. Roof leaks, paint peeling off the doors. Restaurant service takes over an hour for a meal to arrive. Not worthy of the Holiday Inn name.

The hotel is very well placed for the express way to Holyhead, but being about 3 miles out of town, rather isolated. The staff were excellent, the rooms clean and the small gym very welcome. The park & ride is a short, but not pleasant walk.

Nice comfortable rooms, great breakfast and super helpful friendly staff, great two night stay at the holiday Inn south in Chester very convenient for park and ride, which is about 3 minute walk away from hotel. Will definitely stay again

Overall not bad , however the whole hotel smelled pretty unpleasant. I found that my bathroom could have been a little bit more cleaner (smelled bad also) so it wasn’t a nicest. Aircon wasn’t working at all and I’m guessing the whole system was broken, when I looked out my window every single room had theirs open as well.

The staff make this hotel

The hotel itself was fine, problems at check in were unfortunate and the staff were wonderful, IT issues can happen anywhere. The room was a good size and other than ring marks in the bathroom it seemed clean. Evening meal was fine, and breakfast was good, i do prefer a buffet breakfast and this one didn't disappoint. Overall a good stay
