Room was right next to the front door. I’d the hotel Head board was against the door to the entrance. Very noisey all night. People drinking outside the window Didn’t sleep much at all. People talking and shouting on and off all night when coming in. Door constantly banging shut,when people was coming in and out Deliveries at 7am right next to our window. The room was cold Toilet seat was broken on arrival Slide of when using first time. So had to toilet seat on. Was late at night to complain. As arrived late evening Just wanted to rest. However that didn’t happen. Tv remote didn’t work only on and off So couldn’t really watch tv The purpose of the visit was to have a relaxing weekend. We was booked for 2 nights Friday-Sunday However we checked out Saturday morning and didn’t want to return!

Room was fine . There is NO Hot water early in the morning or late at night so early Bird Contaractors DONT get to Shower.

Not for me.

TV was broken, no 5G signal and the WiFi literally dropped out every 30 seconds. Shower pressure was very poor and stayed warm for about 5 minutes before turning cooler again. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff were friendly and service was good.

Was good now terrible

Stayed here a number of times over the last couple of years but this year it really has gone downhill. Firstly they insist on taking your bank card from you and take a picture of the details before returning it. If you refuse they don’t let you stay. Secondly the room cleanliness has deteriorated. This first room I was giving someone had left present in the toilet (still there after 2 flushes). The second room looked a lot cleaner with hot chocolate and biscuits. Nice touch. I went to the bar and had one drink then back to my room for a hot chocolate. The cup was dirty. The receptionist was lovely and very apologetic stating that the toilet was down to a backflow problem (on the first floor?). The dirty cup was down to the housekeepers time in each room reduced? If the cleanliness of the room is this bad what is the kitchen like I wonder Lastly the WiFi is poor. Used to be ok

Super friendly staff and a very talented chef.. lovely and quiet stay. Catered for gluten free and lactose free meals.. We will definitely be coming back :-)

Convenient location with easy access to the NEC. Staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant was nice and good value for money breakfast. Unfortunately the room was disappointingly dirty.

Two night business trip. Good access and parking and well located in village with range of shops and places to eat and drink. Bed was comfy. Check in staff was great and friendly throughout stay. Place was a little tired in terms of upkeep and decor but was excellent value.

Bed was on the firmer side for my taste but did not experience any issues during our stay the hotel will soon be introducing camera anpr monitored parking with a charge in the very near future so bear in mind when parking.

There was ample on site parking. The evening meals in the restaurant were very good although there was a considerable delay in service, probably from being short staffed. However, staff in restaurant were pleasant.Breakfasts were not so good especially if you ate late when the food had gone past its best.
