Disliked: Room comfort

Hotel is lovely, quirky and different, only problem is the downstairs of the duplex room we had never warmed up, upstairs (where bedroom and bathroom are) was very warm, but downstairs was uncomfortably cold, so much so we watched tv on the bed and didn’t use the downstairs at all.

Absolutely Excellent

We stayed overnight for a Christmas Party nearby and had a table booked at their resteraunt - we were running late and they couldn’t have been more helpful, they changed the time of or table - and the food was FABULOUS as was the service - must mention all the staff were amazing too. This is after getting in touch a couple of days before to confirm my needs to ensure I had all the support I needed as I have mobility needs, they posistioned me in a room near reception, with disabled access and couldn’t have been more helpful. WIll definitely go back if have the chance - excellent service, staff and wonderful place to stay. Fantastic.

First time in Coventry for a works trip, which we extended to two nights, our duplex room was amazing, large lounge area and beautiful mezzanine level bed and bathroom. Bed was super comfy and we loved the nudge to the heritage of the building with a modern twist

The only thing I don’t like is the lack of parking. My mobility isn’t great and I think that if closer parking was available The Telegraph would be perfect.

Really enjoyed our stay. The ambiance of the bar and the restaurant were fantastic. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the staff were attentive and friendly. The room was clean and cozy, warmed up well considering it was 0° outside! Spacious rooms, very comfy bed and the shower was amazing. Would most definitely recommend. Would suggest the NCP bellgrave plaza parking was literally a 3 minute walk away and paid £11.95 for 25hrs stay.

Lovely venue with character, in a great location. The breakfast buffet was also first class. The rooms are also very spacious. However, the level of dust in the room let it down.
