We stayed in 851. Checked in at 3PM from our flight from Canada. What unique about the property is the people that works there. They are very approachable and helpful with all our questions. From check in to check out the General Manager was friendly and very professional. Eshma helped us at 2AM with our food cravings! Shes so wonderful and very nice! Kudos! Melanie from breakfast is wearing a great early in the morning! Overall very nice.
The bathroom shower has very low water pressure, and no fan. The quality of the place was closer to a hostel than a hotel. The AC was broken so they provide a small heater. Not a horrible stay overall, but definitely not worth the couple hundred we paid.
Had a nice stay here my 1st time in London. The staff were super friendly and helpful with checking bags to late checkout to breakfast service. I felt very comfortable and it was great for a 3 star hotel! Also, it was very clean!
The good. Fairly quiet and comfortable. Close to Waterloo station and buses. The breakfast was good but a little expensive and not open early or for long.
The bad. The staff the first couple of days was quite rude. I got the impression that because we were foreigners we were treated poorly. That's fine. I literally walked by a staff member and said good morning and she looked me in the eye and kept walking.
Great hotel, conveniently located near the city center around public transportation options. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, 24/7 bar is definitely a plus. On the downside I regret that the wifi is not free and that there are no mini-fridge in the rooms.
Nice hotel close to waterloo station where you csn catch the train or tube. A lot of attractions within walking distance. Bus stops are within a few minutes from botel.
We booked this hotel due to its location of the tube and the fireworks display New Years Eve. It was a 5 min walk to the Waterloo Tube station and within a 10 min walk to the Imperial War Museum. The room was super small but what more do you really need than a place to lay your head down. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They let me drop of our suitcase before we checked in so I didn't have to lug it around London all day. The Bar has a happy hour from 3-6p and a nice breakfast selection. I would like to warn people that the Free Wifi is only for 30 min. after that you have to pay $3 for 24hrs.
I would stay here again. nice hotel. everyone is friendly. food was lovely, beds were comfy. only negative thing would be the toilet being right beside the wall.
Good budget hotel in a convenient location not too far from Waterloo station. The rate included breakfast and wifi was only and additional charge of £3 per day. Its clean and looked like it had been refurbished recently. For an affordable hotel in London it really was a great deal.
The hotel is centrally located so if you want to visit historic sites most of it is walking distance. Staff very pleasant and helpful, very quiet rooms.
