Pleasant stay.

We had a one night stay over on way home ,lovely scenic driveway to hotel with golf course with wild dear .Hotel was spacious wide corridors,it was clean well kept,carpets in places looked a little tired.We only had breakfast in morning of checking out and that was well stocked and hot at the time we was in dining room.Would stay there again.

It is a nice location away from town. Dining the first night was very noisy - a group of golfers and it took management over an hour to ask them to quieten down after complaints from other patrons. Noisy in the corridors at night - revellers coming back from partying - awaken three different times with conversations and laughing. Bedroom was cold. Drainage in the bath tub slow so stagnating water. Overall, an unpleasant experience. I shan't be returning to this location.

We stayed at this hotel as 4 friends getting together for a birthday weeekend we werent dissapointed by the size of the rooms and the layout however we were a little dissapointed by the bar facilities that were on offer we understand that it is a golf club but would have thought you would have a more relaxing place for guests to sit and unwind for such a large hotel its lacking in adequate seating would be much better with big comfy chairs and a nice bar area to golfy for my liking

Great Staff & Anniversary Touches, But Needs TLC

We had a lovely stay at the Forest of Arden Hotel & Spa. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the thoughtful gesture of a welcome plate of desserts and a personalised note in our room for our anniversary made it even more special. The lobby had a lovely scent, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. We also made use of the pool, which was nice and refreshing. However, while we appreciated the hospitality, the room itself felt a bit dated, with some paint chipped off the walls. Additionally, we were disappointed that the bar near the lobby closed before midnight, leaving us with no other options to enjoy a drink. Room service also stopped at 10:30 pm, which limited our late-night choices. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we’d stay again and recommend it due to its close proximity to the city and the N.E.C. There’s room for improvement in the amenities and room maintenance.

Third time we have stayed and we will be back. Love the facilities and location, food and service very good. Yes some areas are a little tired but for a hotel of its age its well looked after.
