The hotel interior was decorated nicely for the holiday and the room was clean. Unfortunately, there were no USB ports in the room, and the some of the lamps were not working. The heat was not keeping the room warm unless you turned it up to 74 degrees and then we were roasting. We received housekeeping after our first evening, but not after our second. On our way out after our second night, we had requested additional washcloths specifically as our original washcloths had been removed by housekeeping, and this request was overlooked. On the evening before checkout, I asked the font desk representative to add my Marriott Bonvoy information to my stay and she said she could not as I had booked the stay through a third party site. This was the first time I had ever been told this. While I typically book through Expedia, the Marriott properties always ask if I am a member and “add the stay” to my history. Finally, Marriott always provides water upon arrival for members and the front desk representative seemed well put off when I requested water, as a member, when she said she would not add the stay to my Bonvoy account. The stay was fine but certainly was lacking in hospitality and small services. We unfortunately would not stay again at this location.

This was a very convenient location for my wife and I to stay while visiting with family in different places on Long Island. Its proximity to both the Sunrise and the Long Island expressway put all of our destinations just a short drive away. Everything was very clean and well maintained. And although the hotel was full during our most recent visit, it was very quiet, the bed was quite comfortable and we were able to get a great night’s sleep.
