Worst property I stayed. You pay for the location which was in the heart of Times Square. Breakfast was horrible. They call it grab and go bag. This comprise of a beverage, a fruit and a donut. And my rate was just under $700.00 a night. This is no exaggeration. This hotel is garbage.

The area is conveniently located and parking, while a quite expensive additional charge, was simple. The bed was comfortable. However, the TV didnt work, the GFI outlet was blown and wouldnt reset, the room had no decoration and looked like a motel, the curtains were dingy and the hem was falling out, the bathroom tile was old and broken, the bottom of the bathroom door was clearly damaged, and there was empty space which is a novelty in NYC but no couch or seat, like it was oddly empty. The ice/water machine area ahain looked like a motel, and the "breakfast" that we paid extra for was a prepackaged muffin, 1 piece of fruit ans 1 liquid - not continental. This hotel was not worth $300/night.

It says sound proof rooms, you can hear everything, noise in the hall way, elevators and outside. Room not clean, broken glass on floor, very out dated and mold in bathroom. The heater doesn’t work not even batteries in panel on wall.

Staff were typically New York rude, if you asked a simple question you didn't know the answer to and they thought it was stupid then they snapped back at you and treated you as if you were. The first room I was in had a thin (timber stud and plasterboard, not solid) wall between the bedroom and the lift shaft so every time the lift was used it woke me up all night long. Out of four lifts only one was working and that was non-automated and operated by a lift-man, so I had to call reception to get a lift at my floor every time I used it. There was no restaurant and no bar. "Breakfast" was coffee and a pastry at a tiny reception desk serving the whole hotel so was not used at all by myself. No hot water in the morning on day one, tepid water after that. I was moved to a quieter room the next day, "recently renovated" it had broken fittings and a toilet seat too small for the toilet bowl. There was a City Ordinance "Stop Work" notice on the front door shutting down unsafe working practices on the two top floors. There were protesters outside in the mornings complaining about unsafe working practices. I tried to book another hotel as there are many others very close-by, but they were all full unfortunately or I would have moved out despite losing money. It was certainly overpriced for what it was. Overall I would say don't stay there! Find another nearby option such as the Sheraton almost opposite it, as its location was great.

Took forever to check-in as clearly understaffed at the reception. This hotel is very popular and ALOT of ppl check in/out at the same time yet they have only 1-3 persons when they need like 5-6. Staff definitely tried their best to be supportive, courteous and highly service-minded. The bathtub had "bubbles" in its bottom indicating leaking water inside it and clearly not been renovated for ages. The door lock was hard to open/jamming constantly and card wouldn't unlock until several attempts made to reactivate it, ie requiring me repeatedly going down to reactivate the card. Carpets in the room old. Hotel/rooms are very clean though and location is superb. This is a place where you play "low" but get a close vicinity (minutes walk) to times square and broadway. So not for ppl who wants luxuary or high standards on teh room.

The room was tiny and completely outdated. All the fixtures/furnishings are decades old. There is mildew in the bath tub, damaged walls, broken sink fixtures, and overall was worse condition than a frat house/college dorm room.

They had a flood there which knowed out 3 elevators which u needed to order to spot at you floor, no hot woater in the bathroom and safe wasn't working. They switched me to a new room which was fine. They also have double billed me. I paid you and they charged me an additional $630 dollars which I will call them and argure bout plus notifying my CC not to pay.

No A/C in July, Disgusting Room, Terrible Staff
There was no A/C in the hotel... in July. Our bed was broken and leaned to one side. The carpet was buckling up off the floor. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Tried to phone down to the desk countless times and never got an answer. Hotel staff watched us stand at the water/snack counter for 10 minutes without asking if we needed help. After me asking them if someone could help us, we were told the guy that works the counter must be in the restroom. After waiting another 15 minutes on said person, he never showed and one of the staff wrote down what we got. One of the elevators didn't work half the time we were there and the hotel was packed with people/families. Getting up to our room or down to the lobby literally could take 15-20 minutes. Again, there was no air conditioning.... in JULY!! Absolutely miserable experience. This was our Graduation trip for my daughter. This hotel was terrible.

The property is very noisy, with doors, footsteps and construction noise loud inside the room. The elevators weren't working properly, so one was supposed to call the front desk in order to request the elevator stop on that floor. I called over and over and it just rang and rang, so I had no way to request an elevator. Check in and check out took a long time.

I know hotels in Manhattan are expensive. The problem I have is the photos of this place are inaccurate. These are not updated rooms as the photos show. Shower was like warm. Lights weren’t working. TV wasn’t plugged in. Some lights weren’t working. Hard to find an outlet for device charging. Oh - and only one elevator kind of worked. Also couldn’t check in when I arrived at 6:30pm. Knocked on the door at 7:40am to clean the room too. Good location though.
