The hotel is great! The staff exceptional! My room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant snd bars are great! There was construction in the street out front, but that was not the hotels fault.

Hotel is a refurbished older hotel, but done stylishly, room was pretty spacious (bathroom was tiny though). Great rooftop bar with terrific view of the Empire State Building across the street. Very good experience overall.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The bed was very comfortable, the staff was so kind, it was an amazing location, & we really enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. We also loved the products they provided: robes, cosmetics & more!

Overall great stay and convenient location next to a subway station, food options, and attractions. Property is on the older side and we found yellow stains on the outer edge of our sheets, but otherwise clean. Staff are very kind and knowledgeable about the area.

This hotel has bed bugs. My legs were covered with bites after checking out and it was the only place I stayed. I called the manager (Natalia) and she didn’t want my photographs or to deal with me at all. The bites are incredibly painful and a mess and this for the $600= I spent there a night is just not ok. Don’t stay here.

We stayed at the Kixby for my daughter's 21st birthday. On arrival we were very pleasantly surprised to find that we'd been upgraded to a King and even more surprised to find a bottle of bubbles and a lovely birthday message from the team in our room. Such a lovely gesture, thank you :). The front desk staff were always courteous, we were always greeted with a smile, and they were very helpful if we needed advice. We arrived early and left late, and they were happy to accommodate our luggage both pre and post check-in. Our room was on the 10th floor, it was clean, tidy and of a good size, although there was some noise from the road outside as we were located at the front (I guess that's New York). However, this didn't bother us too much, as once our heads hit the pillow getting to sleep wasn't an issue. The rooftop bar was a nice touch, although we felt the drinks menu could have offered a little more choice on the cocktail front. There's complimentary flavoured waters (refillable bottle given at check-in), tea and coffee daily, which was also a nice thought. The hotel's location was just perfect, very central, in fact we couldn't have picked better. The subway was a couple of minutes walk and we were within a short stroll of both the Empire State Building and Macy's department store. There were an abundance of restaurants on the same street and we had a really nice meal in the Black Tap (burgers and craft beers) which is located next door. A really good stay - thank you!

The staff were very welcoming when we arrived. They gifted us complimentary refillable water bottles. We stayed here for my girlfriend’s birthday and they left her a hand written note in our room with some chocolates. The room was very clean and the AC was already set at the lowest setting. I would absolutely stay here again considering the convenience to stores and attractions around us.

Excellent location, fabulous rooftop bar with stunning view of Empire State Building, subway stop within 30 second walk, and comfortable room. It was loud at night (just usual traffic, sirens, garbage collection noises) but enough that we found it hard to sleep through the night. We only had the breakfast one morning because it seemed very expensive for what was on offer. Other than that, great stay!
