A Nice Visit at Tropical Winds
A return trip for me. The room was clean and comfortable and has been renovated. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The cafe is simple and the breakfast was good. Corridors and elevators are a bit dated. I recommend if you don’t need a 5-star.

Parking close to building. We went to our room and there were five roaches within the first half hour. I went to front desk and the lady was very apologetic. She sent me to another room. The door was open. The guys were painting there. She sent us to s third room, more roaches. Finally a fourth room worked. My trip was nearly ruined by this incident. I am very afraid of roaches. I saw the pest control people there the next day. I will never stay there again. The view was amazing on the positive side.

Dirty and run down
Was very unhappy with this hotel. Very run down and not clean. When we got to our room we saw the floors were dirty with crumbs and a sticky black substance, we told the woman at the front desk about it and sent someone to “clean” while we were at dinner. When we returned the floor was still covered in crumbs but the sticky stuff was gone. Husband killed 2 roaches when we were getting ready for bed. Was supposed to be 2 nights stay by we left after 1 night.

Dog smell on linens and dog hair on the floor
I stayed solo with two queen beds, anticipating to use just one. However, upon arrival to the room, I noticed a lot of short dog hair all over the floor.. once I finally laid my head to rest, I became overwhelmed with the stinch of dirty dog… I was disgusted thinking that these linens were not even washed after the last guests… I changed beds and the smell was not an issue. However, the whole experience made me extremely uncomfortable and weary of everything else I touched. Disturbing to say the least.

This hotel is not only quite dated but it is flat out DIRTY. Mold growing everywhere, hallways all stink horribly and it just gave off that sketchy vibe. Not a family hotel. Our room overlooked some run-down apt complex and there were sketchy characters and happenings there too. I will not stay hee again

Room was clean, amenities was great for price but both night we checked in an next morning we had no hot water an left with having to take cold shower night of check in an canceling plan to extend stay another night check out earlier to get access to hot shower.
