We loved our villa! The kitchen was fully stocked, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the backyard was nice for the kids to get their energy out. We went to the lazy river and arcade and those were fun. We appreciated the short drive to Epcot. Would stay again!

A little this and a lil that
I have mixed reviews on my stay. Pro: Location was perfect. It was right off Irlo Bronson and close to everything. We stayed in the West Village in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa. The Villa was spacious and comfortable. The resort had multiple pools, slides and a lazy river. The water was heated. It also had golf, arcade and much more. The cons: When checking in you have to go to the timeshare desk for a parking pass. We decided to do a timeshare for $200 giftcard and it took 3 hours instead of the 1.5 hours promised. I did get a late check out to compensate but it was too long. You also have to pay for the putt putt golf and other activities in the fun center. This is not disclosed until you are at the resort. Depending on your party size, the parks may be cheaper. Overall, I would go back.

It started at the security gate and just kept on going. You are given ZERO direction by check in staff on anything the resort offers or where to find points of interest ( or even directions, unless “that way” means more here than in other places. Strange room set up that is VERY dated and rundown. Just because you pay a daily “resort fee” does not mean you are allowed a TUBE for the FREE LAZY RIVER… Those will cost you $8 or so for a full day rental per person. Not sure how to enjoy the lazy river without a tube… so I guess well played money grab? Overall, avoid.

The property was very nice overall; however, they really pressure you into the 90 minute time-share presentation. We had a long day and told them repeatedly that we just wanted to get into our room and then get something to eat before the restaurant closed but they just kept hounding us. We asked if we could come down the following morning to schedule a time to see the presentation but was told we had to decide right then so we declined. We stayed in the main building where you check in. The hotel staff were mediocre; however every member of the resort staff (by that I mean the restaurant employees, entertainment staff, security, etc. were AMAZING!)

The main hotel is dated, the rooms are desperate need of new carpets or a deep clean. Our room smelled strongly of mold as soon as we entered. The mattress on the pull out sofa had mold/mildew and smelled awful. DO NOT agree to the timeshare presentation!! We were lied to and told the waterpark area costs more than $50 per person unless we did the presentation. This was a lie. We were told the presentation was 90 minutes, it was actually 2 1/2 hours!! Complete waste of our time and a complete scam. The activities do cost money, which is not stated on Hotels.com. They are inexpensive, so don’t waste your time getting roped into the timeshare con.

The property was beautiful. Our room was a 2 bedroom on the west side and we had plenty of space with a beautiful view of a water fountain out back . The pools were well kept up and lots of fun entertainment by the fun team which was great for the kids ! Such as bingo , dance parties , a show from gaterland and free arcade tournaments. Cons : Everything is very expensive on the resort , and everything they offer such as the lazy river , the big inflatable water slide , zip lining , mini golf cost money . Lazy river is $9 a person and the tubes are not comfortable , mini golf is $12 a person and the course is very unfortunate and the costs keep going . I think for the close to $400 resort fee these things should be included . The pools are very far apart , about a 2-3 minute drive between each pool. Disney through the back road is about 20 minutes and there is no shuttle to Disney . Most things are at least 20-30 minutes away , such as SeaWorld , Lego world and universal . All in all they kept the resort clean , and the entertainment was great .

We were told the unit was to be “refreshed”, it was certainly at the end of its life cycle. Other units in our building were being worked on. The furniture was worn and showing its age, the carpets made our feet black, and we found empty beer cans under one of the beds. The microwave worked but made a lot of noise, the oven racks were too small to be used and one of the toilets intermittently ran after flushing. On the plus side the pool areas were very nice and then restaurants convenient.
