Not deluxe hotel
The rooms are very basic and dated especially for it being a deluxe resort. Only benefits of staying are the closeness to the park and the express passes. Without those we would never stay here. We actually wouldn’t stay any longer than the 3 night we did stay as my son who has dairy allergies couldn’t eat here and we got very poor service from the TukTuk shop. Nothing about this hotel felt deluxe. Coming from a Disney moderate. If you’re just needing somewhere to sleep, then it’s ok but I would pay a little extra and go to hard rock next time. Was a lot better. Also to add the room and bathroom were filthy. You can see it’s only given a service clean, loads of stains and general grime everywhere

We asked for a rollout bed that we were told would be about twenty minutes,an hour later it appeared,we found dust on the toilet roll holder and something’s just looked a bit shabby

Excellent stay. I have a large dog and accommodations are hard to find. Loews hotels are the exception to the rule. Enjoyed seeing dogs of all breeds allowed here during a difficult time for Florida.

Don't forget anything valuable in your room
Make sure you don't forget anything at the end of your stay or you won't get it back. I left my Armani sunglasses by the tv (I am 100% sure as I saw it while I was taking the bags out to checkout (and thought "I must not forget my sunglasses) but forgot to pick up when I returned to get the remaining bags - I returned a few hours after and they claimed the cleaning staff didn't find it... I spoke to the manager but they said the cleaning team didn't return anything. I asked them to check the rota to see the exact person that cleaned my room and they said I'd have to wait longer (we left the room ay 7:30am and I went back to the hotel 4pm and 6pm. I've stayed in good hotels all over the world and things never vanished like this. Plus I am afraid after 6 days at Animal Kingdom Lodge this was very bellow in every aspect (even though similar price per night). Staff not very friendly, hotel not as clean and new, room not too big, very expensive quick service food (Disney had a $13 meal which was delicious! Here $25 for a pizza) just felt too expensive for what they offer plus they kept my sunglasses. Also on the first day we left at 7:30am and when we returned at 4:30pm the room hadn't been cleaned. This is a £426 pound a night hotel room we are talking about it..

Have stayed at all universal property hotels. This by far was the most underwhelming. Dirty run down rooms small pool area. Hot tubs that don't work with out of service signs. How tacky. All for 600 a night!

The best parts of this property are * the Universal express pass you get as a guest * walking distance to the parks Outside of those perks, this property is really overpriced for everything else including the guest laundry amenities.

We stayed at this hotel for the Express Pass to Universal. Even though it was very expensive for one nights stay, the passes compensated for that.
