All in all, our experience at the resort was fantastic. The room was extremely spacious, which surprised us given we opted for the junior suite - more than enough room for 2 people. It was also very clean and housekeeping was consistent with providing us fresh towels and bedding. The buffet was great and had something for everyone. All of the food we ate was fresh and flavorful. The made-to-order meats and tacos were a personal favorite of mine! Big fan of the taco truck by the main pool as well. The wait staff in the buffet and restaurants were very accommodating, checking in often to make sure we had beverages and were enjoying our food. We didn’t love the individual restaurants that we tried, but they were all at least good and the service was extremely quick! The entertainment definitely made this trip for us. From pool to evening activities, everyone was super friendly and the diversity in activities from day to day was great. Rhamses in particular was amazing; he went out of his way to strike conversations with us throughout the day, outside of his assigned activities. He was very personable and it was easy to tell that he puts great effort into making sure everyone at the resort had a great time. Jonathan and Luna were also great, providing plenty of laughs and conversation at the pool. My only suggestion to the resort would be to provide more indoor activities during the day - it was typically isolated to the pool & it was oppressively hot during our stay.

The first time I stayed at this resort in 2023, I had an amazing time. Everything was perfect, staff, food and cleanliness. This is why for 2024, I decided to come back. This time sadly my experience was not as memorable. The ladies and the one gentleman at the spa were phenomenal!!! They made my stay so much better. The young lady who did the check in for me was super sweet. But upon check in, the bedsheets were stained. I called the front desk and the lady who answered was extremely rude. I explained that I did not need to change rooms only the sheets needed to be changed as I was not sleeping on dirty sheets. This same lady whose name I did not catch (I should’ve ) again was extremely rude when I was trying to get change for a $50 dollar bill, funny thing I was asking another young lady at the front desk and she just barged in with her attitude. One night I go to the bathroom only to find a roach, alive!!! Then trying to schedule my return airport shuttle the young man from MTS made it impossible (this was paid already just needed a pick up time), he wanted me to buy whatever else he was selling. I understand that those tables right outside the lobby are of excursion companies not necessarily associated with the hotel, but if you are allowing contractors to interact with your guest at least set rules and expectations so that your guests are treated with respect and dignity.
