Change the rock hard mattress out.
The hotel itself is a great location for Arena, Alex Theatre etc, great parking directly underneath in X-Park, great food and service in Grill for evening meal and breakfast.... however, please change your mattresses as they are rock hard, so uncomfortable and so hardly slept. I ached so much in the morning that is took away from what was a pleasant stay. Bed and breakfast, you got half the job right.

Lovely lady greeted me on arrival and provided a lighter room as these rooms are generally quite dark. However, the room had a couple of faults, no lock on the door, looked like it had been broken off and a faulty flush on the toilet

Malmaison is our go to hotel for stopping over in Birmingham, 1 night stay for a night out, problem with the Air Con making a noise so reported to staff in the morning after waking me up in the night, room was perfectly clean as always. Will be back again soon

I liked everything! The beautiful breakfast, the clean rooms, the bed was so cozy, staff was lovely and so helpful and kind! I will only stay there from now on when I'm in Birmingham!!!!

The lady on check in is very Helpful and polite. The male was not as helpful. No bottles of water in the room. When asked room service they told me they would tray charge me to bring water or ice. Air con made rattling noise when on and warm when not on

We had a club room on the 5th floor that was superb. Friendly reception, super friendly bar staff and excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay here on my next visit to Brum.

Definitely my go to place to stay in Birmingham. Great location in easy walking distance to stations (New Street & Moor Street), shopping and bars/restaurants. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious with a really spacious bathroom as well. Pretty quiet at night although some noise from hotel room doors slamming but not late at night. Didn't eat at the hotel but there's a nice bar/restaurant and also a Starbucks on the ground floor.

Very good in main - long wait at check in. Stopped serving food in bar at 11, told room service only. Went to room, told had to go to reception !! No ability to order on line- get with it!!
