Clean hotel with a rock hard bed

I found the hotel to be clean and the staff to be very friendly. But the mattress in my room was like sleeping on wood. It was so hard there was no give for hips or back or even ribs, and human bodies are not straight up and down. I was so uncomfortable and the next day was in so much pain. Why would they do that to their customers?

Unfortunately we didn’t get her til after dark so we didn’t see much. Seems like a nice area, especially being close to the freeway. We had a nice stay. Thank you.
