The Barrymore Hotel is convenient and easy to find, however not totally in a walkable area and the rideshare bus provided by the hotel has flaws. If you want the pickup/drop off by that service the range of 2 miles from the hotel is small and the staff aren’t in contact with each other so they never know how long it will take for a pickup/drop off.

The hotel provides a shuttle upto 10:30 pm that will drive you anywhere within a 2 mile radius. Free onsite laundry machines. Overnight security guard. The staff allowed us to checkin 3 hours early no hassle. Even with over 400 college students staying the rooms were quiet and comfortable. We started our vacation out here and ended up returning for our last night before our returning flight.

Located across from The Straz Center for the Performing Arts and right on the Riverwalk, the Barrymore was the perfet location. They had a shittle to take you anywhere within a two mile limit. Parking on site was only $10.00. The hotel restaurant was perfect for a light dinner before the show. The bar was opened late and was perfect for an after show drink and cinversation. Check in and check out was fast and easy. Thank you Barrymore!

NO HOT WATER FOR 45 MINUTES
The room and bathroom was clean. If want hot water to take a shower in the morning turn it on at least 45 minutes prior to attempting to get in the shower, don’t bother calling the front desk desk because you will get get attitude like you don’t know how to turn the water on in the shower.

Our 2nd stay here. Pretty hotel. Great location to the arena and not far at all from the major highway. So you park your car for a nominal daily fee and walk to areas of interest. Clean hotel and friendly staff.

The stay was fine. Quiet night. I was going to extend my day to work at the hotel and they said they have a big group coming so I can’t keep the room. I understand there is a big group but I’m also a paying customer. That’s my only gripe. Otherwise the staff was nice and the people at the restaurant were super cool.
