The staff were excellent and the place is very nicely decorated. What i didnt like was that they charged extra for every day you stay without telling you and if you dont use up all of it, it can take up to 35 days to get your money back.

The staff were incredible. I could not have loved them more. Some of the best staff I have ever encountered at any hotel. Unfortunately, the facility is extremely dated and run-down. Filthy elevators and hallways, broken window shades, doors that scream when being opened or closed. Also the other clientele was extremely loud, hanging out in hallways until the wee hours, and nothing was done about it.

The room smelled off, like a faint smell of bleach. Which to some mean “cleanliness “ but it’s the last type of smell engulfing the entirety of a room.

Me and my friend had such a good time at aloft. The staff were amazing and at the end there was confusion when I checked out, I got charged for a night at the hotel even though I already paid through Expedia. The lady at the front desk (I wish I remembered her name) immediately remedied the situation and refunded my money. Can’t recommend this hotel and location enough! Thank you for a great weekend in Tampa!

Perfect staycation spot for us. In the middle of downtown, easily walkable to lounges, restaurants and the free trolley is just a couple blocks over which can take you all the way to Ybor. Property is super clean, and I highly suggest getting a river view. Will be back!

Friendly staff

Staff were amazing & friendly. Although there is no resturant there is a shop you can buy drink / food and the bar serve hot light bites. Enjoyed use of pool & loungers though there is no shade.

I had a pleasant stay at Aloft Downtown Tampa. I was able to check in early but unfortunately the room they gave me wasn't clean. The front desk offered me a new room but I opted to have the current room cleaned promptly. Common facilities were clean and we'll maintained and the staff were very helpful, would definitely stay again.

Stayed at the Aloft due to proximity of the events we were in town for. Great location and views of the riverwalk. We were looking forward to enjoying the pool area since it was such a hot weekend! To our disappointment, the pool was FILTHY...completely brown and there was even caution tape tied to the railing. Also came home to our first day there, and our room was never even touched. No notice that they would not be there daily, or we would have planned accordingly. Hallways were extremely hot & humid - luckily our room was not. Would have to be a good deal to consider the hotel again.
