Location was great as it is close to fountain of youth and other attractions. Other than that the room was not well maintained and honestly the sheets and towels felt dirty. I did not want to walk barefoot in the bathroom or room.

The room was spotless and so organized for the low cost! Parking was directly in front of our building and we were within a 10 minute walk downtown! Very cute ambient lighting at night by the Old Senator tree allowed for gorgeous photos. Definitely will be returning !

been there 3 times with my partner. The employees are friendly and helpful. Gerome, serves breakfast and we thinks he's the best. Through and friendly...The location is good for a short walk to everything. we will return.

Do not book this hotel. I recently stayed at Villa 1565 during my trip to St. Augustine, and I was extremely disappointed with my experience. Both rooms I tried were dirty, with old, dirty sheets and smelled intensely like mold. The furniture and sheets were badly stained, making it impossible to feel comfortable. I has to eat the cost and book another hotel because it was disgusting. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable and it completely ruined my visit to such a beautiful city. I would not recommend villa 1565 to anyone looking for a pleasant stay in St. Augustine. I got caught up with the inaccurate photos that fraudulently made me think this hotel was decent with historical charm. It was just old unkept and full of transients. Im actually upset with Expedia having a hotel this bad and not letting customers know.

Cant complain about the stay as it was quiet, safe and convenient. Only complaints are that the room smelled of mildew which could be cause by A/C filter and ventilation and the rooms did not match the pictures. The rooms were updated but were not remodeled properly and rusted fixtures were reused to complete the rooms. Better effort should of been put into the repair and remodel.

Lovely little motel

Very friendly staff here. it's a great place to stay if you have not high expectations. the rooms are a little bit old but they're very clean! It's very central to St. Augustine eateries and shops!!

Parking lot all broken up. Room renovated loud air conditioner. Good hot water. Bed comfy but has a piece of metal under bed makes noise getting in and out of bed.breakfast ok. Close to town.good enough at that price

Great location for exploring St. Augustine. Less than a five minute walk to the Fountain of Youth and the trolley picks you up in the parking lot. Doesn’t get any easier than that! Good breakfast and friendly staff. This was my second stay here and I would do it again!
