This place was definitely overpriced for what it was. And please don't look at the mattresses, because ours were Brown.

The people at the front desk were unpleasant when we checked in. The room was marked for handicap but had a tub I could barely lift my leg to take a shower. Bedskirts were dirty. Television service was poor. Breakfast buffet was cold cereal, coffee, prepackaged muffins, and juice. Said it was in historic part of town- it wasn’t. No one was at the counter when we were checking out- a drop box for your cards.

It was convenient to the trolley rides and had free parking. Also had free breakfast which was nice. It could have used a little sprucing up. Mirror in bathroom had frame that needs repainting and the bed frame had a metal piece sticking out on both sides which is easy to hurt yourself on.

The staff was great. As far as the room, not good at all. The toilet had a ring in it, the towel bar was rusty, the bathroom door had green mold on it, the shower head was coming out the wall. When you turn on the water, the entire thing shakes because it was loose. The pillows had a smell and the sheets didn’t look clean. The door lock was missing screws therefore it was loose. This hotel just needs to be renovated completely. It’s old and it shows. But as I stated the staff was excellent. No problems there.

Gross and overpriced
Overall room 205 was disgusting! There was mildew and tracings on the bed skirt, mildew on lamp shades, dust and filth in the floor, human pubic hair in shower and floor of bathroom, and mold in shower. The bed itself was old and uncomfortable (spring mattress). One of the lamps had a broken light bulb in it.

It was close to the downtown area but it's not walkable , breakfast was poor needs some more protein like bacon or sausage. Coffee was mediocre and breakfast area was too small. It was ok for one night for the price
