The building maintenance is sorely lacking. When you reach the condo building from the parking lot, the approach is well worn. The concrete walkway before the stairs had paint chipped away and the stairs were dirty and desperately needed a paint job Right by the door to the condo was cluttered with debris that hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. This was a precursor to the condo.
The condo is EXTREMELY outdated. Flashback to the 70‘s. The furniture is VERY basic with very worn, dirty and dated carpet throughout living and bedroom areas.
When we first arrived, there was a freshener plugged into an outlet that smelled terrible. Terrible musty smell we thought would go away with windows opened but it never did. I’m sure the old carpeting was contributing to the smell. Anyone who knows Florida’s climate, rugs equal mildew/mold/etc. and the smell was obvious. These rugs throughout were old, matted down and in some areas stained. There was even some debris on the rugs upon arrival from a poor vacuuming job.
There were housekeeping issues everywhere.
Very bothersome – Closed Circuit Cameras.
The owner has secured (locked) about 50% of the cabinets, closets, dresser drawers, etc.
The internet is terrible.
The adjoining walls between units (Master Bedrooms in another unit are back to back in design) are not soundproofed. You can clearly hear conversations, however our experience was the loudest snorer we have ever heard in the adjacent unit.
Etc.
