Enjoy all that Sanibel Island has to offer at the West End Paradise. Our charming cottage style accommodations offer a serene and tropical setting with mature foliage, pond with birds and turtles and we're just a short walk to the private Tradewinds beach. Unit 3M "Sanddollar 7" is a hotel style room with a queen sized bed, microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker. There is a full bathroom in the room as well. Need more room? ... add unit 3 "Fish 6" for an additional bedroom with queen sized bed, full bathroom, living/dining areas, full kitchen and screened lanai. All of our units come with beach equipment, beach towels, access to the charcoal bbq grill, outdoor seating, high speed wireless internet, cable TV and air conditioning for those tropical Island summers. This unit is perfect for a couple wanting to enjoy a quick Island getaway.

Tiny

Not only is this unit much smaller than I expected, but it had no kitchen or even an armchair (just a director's chair and a tiny folding table should you want to eat). Generally speaking these kinds of cottages are hard to keep dry in this climate (as compared with a modern house or a hotel), so the general feeling is one of being cramped and clammy. That's not to say it wasn't decently equipped - and the shower was clean. For bargain hunters only.

Needs more attention to detail

I liked the location and the amenities like bikes and beach access, but the room had some issues. The bed pillows had unpleasant odors when we arrived. This was corrected upon request. The electronic door lock was finicky and on the last day, we were locked out an hour early by management changing the code too soon.
