after a long drive I checked in in the middle of the night and the staff was very helpful with clear instructions for the room and parking. there is a light continental breakfast in the lobby and the hotel is very conveniently located to downtown. beds are comfortable and shower is hot

Everything was great. The only complaint I had was that the guards under the beds (I assume they are there to stop people losing things and to simplify cleaning.) are like cymbals - loud and irritating - any time anyone in any nearby room hits them with their feet.

Overall an average/acceptable hotel. Nothing to write home about but also not much to complain about. Property is close enough to walk to downtown. The pool looks nice. Room was clean but had an odor and was very humid to an almost uncomfortable degree. Beds were fine, pillows could have been nicer. The sink/vanity area was huge but toilet/shower area was super small and made navigating a bit awkward. Overall a fine place to stay the night.

Easy planning
I had a great stay.. the clerk was friendly and very helpful... she told us about all the events happening nearby during our stay. The room was very comfortable. This facility actually had rooms for smoking.. very hard to find hotels that offer smoking and non-smoking. We didn't have to leave a deposit either which is unusual but helpful to know... thanks Hotels.com for our easy to plan trip .

We booked a handicap room for my mom, as she has a mobility scooter. The room had a significant lip between the bedroom and bathroom, and just a standard bathtub. My mom tripped on the lip and luckily didn't get hurt. She also couldn't get in the shower, so had to do without during our stay.

The location is good for walkers, lots of shops and restaurants less than a mile walk. This particular hotel has a variety of room configurations and the staff is very friendly. The Breakfast is more of a continental style, just in case future guest are looking for omelets and french toast instead.
