We were told there were issues with the pool due to construction—owner and I had multiple discussions and I told them that no pool might be a deal breaker. A few days later told it would be open a few days into our stay. So we proceeded with renting bc of that. On the way to our trip, we get a call saying the pool might not be available and arrive to a parking nightmare. We had already booked at this point ...
We get a message 2 days later stating pool would be ready by the weekend— well, that didn’t happen. Requested some sort of kickback due to all the inconvenience and no getting the full value of the property. The owner suggested we go thru Evolve. So we did that once home, no help whatsoever.— they pretty much sided with the owner and everyone keeping their full prime rental amount bc there is a pool next door. I could not get them to answer my emails to see my response to their decision or reach them by phone.
I rented Belair bc of the privacy and beautiful balcony and pool. We did not get that, and in my opinion, the rental company or owner should have done something to adjust the price paid. The owners were very nice thru all of this, but I still paid premium price for sub par. We are not hard to please and I normally don’t write reviews...but this time was very stressful and I felt a need reviewEvolve for their poor customer service.
