This kind of resorts are for honeymooners or group. I traveled solo. There were not enough activities to keep busy all day. I had to ask the housekeeping staff to bring water and have coffee for the coffee maker. They keep adding to the instant coffee. The day before my departure I’ll asked the housekeeping staff to place a coffee pack for me. She said in 5 minutes. When I returned to my room that evening I did no have coffee for the coffee maker. I called the customer service desk and explained the whole story. The man who answered said, “it is too late now I will put the request for the morning staff. They will bring it at 7:00 am.” This did not happen.

This was the best Riu Palace we have ever stayed at. The property, staff, food, everything was outstanding. Maria greeted us each morning for breakfast and knew exactly what we drank for breakfast and took great care of us. Bartenders Polo, Minny Me and Reuben are the best! Mario helped us when our shuttle service was late by calling and finding out what happened. Every single staff person was helpful and friendly. Grounds are beautiful. This place is amazing and so clean!! The food is outstanding. Steakhouse, Italian and Sportsbar is the way to go. We travel alot and this place is top notch!!

My better half and I spent a full week at the Riu Palace and it was WONDERFUL!! It was our first kid-free vacation since Covid hit and we could not have been happier. The service, the food, the location, the weather, the pools, the drinks.... it was all even better than expected and the price was great. We read thousands of reviews for dozens of places before choosing Riu Palace Pacifico and we made the right choice! The RiuParty was one of the most fun nights we've ever had which really topped it all off! Highly recommend!

The property was absolutely amazing. The only thing that wasn't good was shopping outside of the hotel, fairly long cab ride to PV centro and there wasn't much else close. I also prefer if hotel didn't allow the locals to wander throughout the pool area trying to sell their stuff--I don't mind the few stands they allowed on beach area as those sales people only approached you if you went in the tents. Everything else was what I would expect from a much more expensive hotel. I thought this was a great place at a fair price. Room was spacious and nice.

Perfect for a great kick back vacation. Really enjoyed the pool and beach. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The food and service were excellent. No problems whatsoever. My one issue...I would have liked more opportunities for dancing in the evening. I am not a big fan of the shows. I prefer a dj or live music in the evenings to dance with my wife.
