Spectacular Room in Prime Location

Having done plenty of research prior as always, it’s always good when a hotel exceeds expectations. The Broadway Plaza is a perfect hotel for a citybreak. Room 602 had the bonus of an Empire State Building view from the window, but that was just the start of the good news. The room was spacious and spotless with an immaculate walk in shower and bathroom. The shower hits perfect temperature and flow at the touch of a button, which is a rare bonus. The absolute star of the show though was the huge bed. By far the most comfortable I’ve ever engaged with. Being a relatively light sleeper I had concerns about staying in the centre of this vast Metropolis but I can report that the quality of sleep was sublime. Noise levels are at an absolute minimum and we had 4 nights of the best hotel sleep we have ever had, which given the full on itinerary days was hugely welcome. Topped off with very polite and helpful front desk staff. I recommend this hotel to all.. You will not regret it! We will return.

Was good but not a four stars for me. There was noise around my room each morning (construction x in the hôtel around my room) and a big trolley with clearing équipement in front of my door almost all day. The bed was not comfortable: super soft mattress. I won’t return to that hotel, even if it’s very well located. At this price, there is better.

Cigarette aromatherapy and luxury space heater

If your room is located on the 7th floor, you’re going in for a surprise. The whole floor must have been used as a utility floor and converted into 3-5 rooms. The hotel room itself had office square tiles on the ceiling, a space heater for supplementary heating, a one piece plastic shower stall, with a hint of cigarettes for aromatherapy. The amazing reviews you see here are from the legit rooms on the other floors. It was a Saturday night reservation which should have lead me to give it more thought and read the ‘lowest rated’ reviews.

Hotel itself was actually great. Room was large and clean. Safe and very walkable area. My only issue is there was some construction noise. It was mostly daytime so didn’t interfere with sleep. I would definitely stay here again!

It was a clean and conveniently located hotel. However the issue of noise that the hotel excuses in the responses to reviews is persistent. Street noises can be okay because you would expect it to end at some point. There’s this other intermittent noise that sounds like a train passing over your head. Staff was rather cold upon arrival. Otherwise a strong 4/5.

Nice, small hotel conveniently located! Actually a pretty big room by NYC standards - obviously recently renovated quite nicely. Everyone is friendly. Had an issue with the shower water which was too hot but called and they came and fixed it promptly. Would happily stay there again.
