Dirtiest hotel ever!!
I've stayed in terrible hotels, but this one really beats them all! The walls were dirty, there weren't any hand towels or towel mat in the bathroom, the carpet was filthy and the tv didn't work. After waiting for 20 minutes for the elevator, we had to walk 6 flights down the service stairs, with our luggage, to avoid missing our flight. The worst expierence of my life at a hotel!

The hotel is def older and can use some better cleaning. The shower pressure was abysmal. There wasnt any pressure at all just a trickle. No where to put towels, no blow dryer… it was a place to sleep. The nachos down in the restaurant were amazing though.

Older hotel, stayed before and after cruise, was ok…. Great to walk to bayside that has lots of dinning options, they have shuttle to port for 9$ per person. And you get 2 drinks upon check in. The rooms are very basic and outdated. They are doing renovations on some floors so depending on your floor it can be very noisy, don’t expect to sleep in.

You pay for the central location. The hotel is very dated. The rooms are small and the bathromm in my room was tiny. Parking was only available as valet parking and cost 55 dollars plus tax for the night.

Gone downhill....Will not return
We typically stay at the YVE once yearly prior to a cruise- this year will be our last. Im not sure if the staff elevators were down- but the elevators to begin with are very tiny, and the entire time were full of staff with large cleaning bins etc. We waited over 20 mins to just get an elevator- and even still had to take several trips as the luggage wouldn't fit. The restaurant here is still awful- husband was served spoiled steak and my chicken was so tough I didn't bother to even eat it. The Last straw- we paid extra money to check in early (even though our room was ready and they could have just checked us in for free)- i did this so that the toddler could get put down for nap on the pull out couch. There was no bedding for the couch anywhere in the room- I had to call down to the front three seperate times to get someone to come up to make the bed (I was more than happy to make it- just needed to get the sheets etc). Overall just not worth the money- we will stay down the street at the Marriot next time.

Just so so
The staff were super helpful and friendly. The floors in the hallway were filthy and the bathroom towels were questionable on whether they had been washed. The room was fine for one night and it was a great location to get to the cruise port.
