This hotel was so dirty, it felt like you should be wearing your shoes when walking on the carpet in the room, it felt sticky. Paint was peeling on the walls. The door to the room only opened 50% of the time. The pullout was the most uncomfortable even my young kids complained about it and they will sleep on anything. I will never stay there again. The hotel lobby has been redone but that is it, its gives you a false senes of what to expect when going to the hotel. The only thing they have going for them is the location is great for cruisers. The staff were good though, it's not their fault the owners dont keep the Hotel maintained.

Ok for me, but not my family.

My room was fine. My only complaint is that the rooms do not have any USB ports. In this day and age with so many portable devices out there, this should not be the case. I traveled with family and their room was terrible. It was smaller than mine and their room was so bad that the manager gave them a full refund.

Smelled musty and needing to get a bit of a face lift. Rooms were smaller than we expected for the price we paid. I know it’s downtown Miami and there were many restaurants and shopping across the street, but when we return, we are going to get hotel a bit further away and uber or take a taxi to that area to shop, if we want to. We’ve stayed in Maui for about half the price with beach views at a fabulous resort. Cost for breakfast was expensive if you didn’t have a voucher. But portions were big, so sharing could be a great option.

My experience

Even though I paid in full and got trip insurance through Hotels.com at 2:30 in the morning of this last Day I was alerted by my bank that a $520 charge was applied to my account when questioned the clerk on duty said that this was standard procedure. After a 26 min debate he finally when faced with electronic evidence agreed to refund the charge which he stated would take at least 14 business days. In 14 days I will have completed my cruise and be back home. This hotel has a great location but is showing the wear and tear of years in service, that combined with the lobby staff lack of concern is something to be aware of prior to booking. I booked a suite and the view was nice The restaurant staff were excellent and caring. Travel to the cruise port was a breeze The Bayside Center is right across the street

Only stayed overnight, great location for watching an NBA game. In need of TLC or a coat of paint or a renovation. Sofa bed very uncomfortable, mattress is very thin and can see mattress springs. Carpet felt dirty, like it was in need of a very deep carpet clean. Parking at hotel full but they had a few parking garage suggestions (we parked at the College Station Parking Garage which is about a 5min walk charged at USD$18 for 24hour stay)

Hotel is a bit worn, but the location is excellent. Must have been under renovations as there was no name on the build. Great location. Right across the street from everything. We wasted tine getting a rental car. The staff was warm and welcoming. Would definitely book again.

For the price we paid this property is not worth it. There are high extra charges for everything parking, breakfast even use of the safe. Paid a little over $500 for only two nights and the building is not in mint condition, limited meal service and getting into the parking was a ridiculous process. Valet had area chained up while he was taking a break had no coverage we sat there waiting after driving 4 hours and needing to go to the bathroom in addition to having a handicap person with us and we still had to walk around the building with all our luggage. No help at all. Quite ridiculous. Staff was great but that was not worth the cost or frustration of it all.

Location is superb. Very close to Miami Cruise Port. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. There is a market walking distance from the hotel which has a lot of restaurants and shops too. Hotel itself needs a lot of TLC Rooms and bathrooms needs to be renovated.

The check-in process was smooth. Room was dirty. Trash was left under the bed and behind the TV. The hotel had a moldy smell. And the elevator kept getting stuck so we had to take the stairs.
