I have always had a good stay here. The check in was very quick and easy! My only issues being that 1 of the elevators does not go to my floor and the safety latch is not working in my room. (I have not reported either to the front desk yet)

When we checked in the desk person was pleasant, but we weren’t given instructions on how to connect to WiFi, assuming the instructions would be in the room. The room had no WiFi instructions. Plus, it had no literature with hotel services or local attractions/food options. So after several attempts to connect to WiFi, I went to the front desk for assistance. We did have dinner and breakfast in the dining area. All servers were attentive and friendly. Our meals were very good.

Upon check in we were told that our room was not ready so they gave us a different room...which then were charged an upgrade for the room then a charge for checking in early. At the same time a girl checking in beside me had the same thing happen to her but they said no charge. So I basically paid an extra 80.00 where she got it for free. When we got to the room we had to push on the door to get it opened. The room was dated and dirty bathroom. The mini bar was empty not that we would have used it. The only thing good about the room was its location to the airport. Would I stay there again that's a definite NO

The young man that checked us in on Sunday Oct 13 in the morning was VERY rude and got mad when I asked him to repeat something. He was mean and a JERK. He would not honor my Hilton rewards account,because I booked the room on Expedia. But the Hilton in Fort Lauderdale always does. Will never stay at Hilton Blue Lagoon again.

If you want a comfy bed close to the airport, this is a good place. We booked the Hilton because a friend told us it was family friend, unfortunately this wasn’t the case. We travel with our 5 month baby and we called ahead to request a crib to our room, as our flight arrived at night. There was no crib in the room and due to the night arrival, no one to help. Also no help to clean baby bottles so we can feed the baby, pack your cleaning supplies and scrub in the shower. Also I am turned off when the only option for water is a $9 bottle, when in most hotels is free.

Front desk personnel was very rude, we had 6 couples check in and each one was a different price and quoted different times for early check in. We paid two nights basically for the fees. No other Hilton has ever charged us that much. I understand a 50 late fee but to have to pay 140 for early check in and pay 160 for the room is a little much. Would never stay here again. We were swimming and a big storm came and rained for a good hour. We had our pool towels and ran to the inside to be told we have to go back out and leave our towels out there. We weren’t allowed to bring them in. We were soaking wet from the rain and had to run back outside and come in while the hotel is freezing cold. Just terrible! Customer service is crap and the hotel Is old and outdated. Not very clean
