When we walked in after 10 hours of travel, there were crumbs and debris in the refrigerator and floor corners. There were dirty cups in the cabinet and fried food pieces in the kids bedroom, peanuts in the living room, and food pieces in the master closet. The sofa bed sheet had not been changed and was covered with what looked like Oreo crumbs and sand. I went to change one of the clocks at eye level for daylight savings time, and it was covered with what seemed like years of dust. Same for the drawers in the kids bedroom. To top it off, the refrigerator was warm and had no power, which we only noticed after purchasing groceries for our stay. This ended up being due to a blown fuse, which happened randomly and frequently throughout our stay. We would return to the room and the refrigerator light would be out so we knew the fuse had blown again. The property manager told us to keep switching the fuse in the box. We were also refunded our $200 cleaning fee. The unit has updated countertops and tile but is very cramped. The scale of the living room chairs and barstools is too big for the space. For example, there is no space on the floor for a full size suitcase without being in a walkway or in the way of something else. The building is adequate but outdated. One of the two elevators required repairs while we were there. The balcony and views are amazing but can’t make up for the other factors. We will return to Marco but not to any location with this property manager.
