An Unexpected Gem

Really nice hotel that is ideally placed for access to central London. Situated in a great place on the edge of Blackheath village and across the park from Greenwich. Great breakfasts and friendly staff.

Exactly as expected , decor and furnishings very dated , yet clean and well maintained without showing signs of aging . Breakfast was good with lots on offer and staff were helpful and polite . Will stay again when in Greenwich

Rundown hotel , dilapidated rooms that need serious renovation! Noise is terrible , walls are thin, and there was scratching noises in the ceiling :( We have no idea what that was ) The place smells old. The staff are nice and the location is excellent.

It is always pleasant to stay at the Clarendon. This weekend was extraordinarily busy for them, but it was still possible to park, and service was up to the usual standard, i.e. very good.

Lovely stay.

Checkin was friendly, quick and efficient. Room was lovely. Bed comfortable, very clean. Shower was good. Tea facilities in room. Breakfast was very good. That was a treat for me. The breakfast room decor was lovely, bright and plenty of light as it faced the garden. I'll be back.
