Sunborn Hotel Docklands

I was there with 3 friend's celebrating a 60th Birthday, it was a great weekend. The Hotel was stunning, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Would definately come back.

The location is great if you are going to the O2 and only a short walk to the cable car that takes you there. A lovely place to stay for a night.

Lovely place to stay, would have preferred a balcony but the hotel was friendly and easy check in. Hotel also managed all my requests, which was great.

Whilst the location and the room were very convenient, I encountered a very rude and unprofessional gentlemen, who was acting as a « manager » in the evening. I faced an issue with a waiter who « forgot » to return my change after I paid a bill in the Bar.. I went to speak to the person on duty and faced the most rude person I have ever encountered. He told me that I should respect the staff and that if I was thinking to post a comment online, he would remove it. No attempts were made to listen to me nor to apologise. During the entire stay, lifts were not working or only partially. WIFI is very poor in the rooms on the first deck. I will certainly not return nor recommend this place.

Lovely Stay

Room was not ready at check in time but was offered complimentary prosecco and given regular updates by reception. Offered an upgraded room forvour 2nd night but declined as we were not goingbto be back on the yatch until 10pm, really appreciated the offer though. Staff were great, room was very large and clean. Breakfast was a little disappointing as the scrambled egg was runny with dried up lumps in it both mornings. Would definitely stay again, a lovely experience.

Beautiful

The yacht is beautiful, well presented, & lovely staff. It is easy by tube and DLR to reach, the over river cable cars had long ques however. The only thing I’d improve would be the use of a window, and better water power in the shower.
