More focus on the smooth running of the hotel

We came to RHH for our babymoon but unfortunately weren't impressed with the little details. We had a loft room which was really hot (which we weren't expecting in Oct!) and the air con unit was noisy and inefficient. There were a few niggles that affected our stay - the telephone in the room didn't work (and reception didn't pick up when we called from our mobiles) - the cleaners trolley was outside our room the whole stay (which was inconvenient as it was hard to get past it!) - the restaurant service was slow and they didn't have the food we wanted - there was only one sachet of milk in the room - the check-in process was rushed and felt stressful, which isn't what we had expected for a relaxing overnight break. Saying that, we did enjoy the general ambience of the hotel, and the standard of decor and design, just let down by the little details unfortunately. Not in line with the price of the room, nor by our previous experiences at Harbour Hotels.

We were given a room that smelt of damp- we were then moved to a twin room which was not what we had paid for. (Deluxe)Very small and hot. We were given complimentary breakfast and a drinks voucher but was really dissapointed. Definately not a luxury experience and would not stay again.

Lovely hotel, very clean , excellent facilities including leisure centre. Staff were friendly and efficient. Disappointing to have to pay for car park.
