Overall, I was pleased with the amenities and location of the hotel. It was convenient to travel to various parts of London. Most train stations were within a 10-20 minute walk, depending on which station you chose to use. The rooms were clean and always maintained in a proper manner. However, I did have a few minor complaints. The carpet in some rooms needed cleaning, as it caused me to sneeze a bit when I entered. Additionally, the body wash dispenser was empty upon arrival, but was subsequently refilled. Furthermore, the hand towel rack was very low under the sink, requiring me to constantly reach down to grab a towel. These were minor but just thought to point them out. Overall it’s an easy pick for a hotel stay.

Limited parking but amazing service and amenities. Very close to everything and walkable to Canary Wharf or Billingsgate Market...20 minutes. Quiet and secure area. Room service was also excellent and a lot of good offers. Perfect for special occasions too.

Nice hotel but not the best location. Insofar as you need to take a taxi from main station:canary wharf. O2 is on the other side of the river so although not far in distance; again you would require a taxi to get there. Overall though a nice hotel...lovely bar area with amazing music. The spa area closed at 6, so didn't get a chance to enjoy it.Lovely buffet breakfast. Polite and helpful staff.

Poor Hot Drinks
The hotel was very difficult to locate as we walked from Canary Wharf Underground and it took more than an hour and we asked about 6 people for directions along the way but still got lost. At the hotel the staff advised us how to get the nearest transport (the DLR) but this was still quite a walk & again we got lost finding it. We arrived very early at the hotel so left our bags at reception and they were very helpful. When we got back check-in was quick. Our room was good, clean and spacious. But we felt the hot drinks facilities in the room was poor; not many tea bags, very little milk and a machine for making coffee from 'Pods' but no instructions & the 'Pods' were not labeled. When we eventually used the coffee machine the quality was poor. Breakfast was OK but not as good as we have had at other London hotels, the selection on offer was limited. There was very little selection of hot drinks too. We were surprised that it wasn't very busy either although the price was expensive and might have had something to do with it. However the view was amazing, if only it hadn't been a very foggy day

Upon arrival at reception, the welcome was anything but warm. The receptionist asked for my name, and after hearing it, immediately requested my passport. As UK residents, we found this surprising and explained that we did not have our passports with us. Despite offering my BRP and British Driver's License as valid identification, we were met with hesitation and what felt like unnecessary scrutiny. This interaction left my wife and me feeling extremely uncomfortable, almost as though we were being interrogated by immigration officials rather than being welcomed as paying guests. After resolving the identification issue, the receptionist claimed our booking wasn’t in the system until I provided the reference number. She eventually found it but offered no apology or explanation for the confusion. We were then handed our room key with a simple, “Breakfast is from 7 to 11 am,” and no further guidance or introduction to the hotel facilities. For a hotel of this standard, basic hospitality seemed entirely absent. The room itself was underwhelming. For a premium price, we expected thoughtful amenities, but there was only one plug socket on one side of the bed none on the other. The TV lacked modern streaming options like Netflix, which are now standard in even lower-rated accommodations. The cleanliness was also unacceptable. There was a handprint one river side window, black mold in the shower corners and white spot stains all over the floor.
