I am concern about how they handle people's data. They left the customer details on desk for everyone to view. I was there when they left a photo copy of the person's passport, i can read their name, DOB, etc was left on the desk. The man came back, his details was still there, by his name i know where he was from i started speaking to him in his language. He then complained that this is not the first time they lost his document, when they asked for my proof of ID, I told them my concern about how they handle people information. I asked for their manager. An older Asian man came out, already irritated by my appearance and very dismissive of my concern. He told me if I am not happy I should cancel my booking and leave. I said to him he is not addressing the issue, he then say to the receptionist to charge me more because I only book for single room and there are 2 of use, he didnt bother to check my booking. I said to him, I paid for 2 people. I told him i will have to start recording this conversation, he said i dont right to record. I asked him for a copy of how they process my data. I dont have my id on me, so I was asked to email a copy of my driving licence via email & I requested for how they process my data. The manager just walked off, he was very dismissive. He came back telling me you sit down over there, as if he is talking to a child.
Till now, i have not received the details of how they process my data.
