The property offers a mixture of modern (kitchen) and slightly dated (bedroom and shared bathroom) facilities.
Our bedroom was crammed, because it contained one double and two single beds. There was also a table with four chairs which was unusable, as there was simply insufficient space to sit around it. In this case, less is more!
The double bed was comfortable enough, bedlinen and towels were clean. There was cosmetic damage to some surfaces and some items, such as the bedside lamp.
As bathrooms and kitchen were shared between up to four parties, there were notices with instructions everywhere, more than I have ever seen in hotels or youth hostels. These were mostly followed by the other guests, yet we encountered one flooded bathroom floor and were kept awake by the very noisy central heating pump because person(s) had left the heating on in both bathroom radiators (which we switched off, of course). We did not use the kitchen at all, but this was kept reasonably clean. However, it would have been reassuring to see the owner or her representative inspecting the property regularly.
