Nice Hotel but Expensive

Hotel nice but no tea in the room (only green and pepermint). Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was extra and very expensive. Good location.

Only stayed for one night and needed an early check in as I was sick. Front desk staff waived half my early check in fee without me even asking. Room was across the elevator and I could hear the noise in the hallway very clearly however it was nothing some earplugs couldn’t sort out. No conditioner in the bathroom shower so bring your own!

This is a great hotel, close to Spittlefields. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that it was impossible to figure out how to work the air conditioning, a tutorial at check-in would be extremely helpful. Otherwise totally would stay here again.

The place was close to the underground/metro/subway it was convenient to get around. The room I expected and paid for which was a double deluxe that would be bigger and have a king size bed it did not. I felt cheated. The people were nice and it was a convenient spot.

Staying here was great! Incredibly convenient, clean, walkable, and hospitable staff. The breakfast was phenomenal, such a good variety of options. The room was small but very clean and modern. It had everything needed to make us comfortable for six nights!

The room was clean and nice enough, but not very functional. Very dim lighting, washcloths only provided if you are in a "premium" room. The building across the street has rooms that look directly into your room, so keep that in mind. Did not eat at the restaurant. Great location next to tube station with easy access to the rest of the city.

Room was clean but was given a wheelchair accessible room which meant the bathroom sink was very low and had a wet room which made the floors slippery and dirty. Also used the late night room service to order pizza, which took over an hour before we headed down to reception to find no one had checked to receive the order, member of staff was just sat on the sofa on his phone and not very helpful. Told us to wait a couple minutes, which I assume they then went and sorted the food after we questioned where it was. An hour and a half after ordering, the pizza turned up and it was pepperoni when we ordered cheese as I am vegetarian and it was barely just cooked.

Great boutique hotel. Not thrilled about the early check in fee but great location and space. Staff was friendly. Would definitely come back. Neighborhood is not the greatest and no parking in front of the hotel. Stay with a family of four and it felt great.

It was hard to get in the hotel at night. Chain fence around the block it is on. Hotel has no road frontage to even find it. Area not the best around hotel. They need to make a way to get into the building from the back side, especially at night.

Great hotel

Really clean hotel. Comfortable rooms and well laid out. Breakfast was excellent. Had evening meal one night which was good too. Great gym as well. Highly recommend

Good stay here! Ordered room service a couple of times and they were friendly and prompt! The room was clean - was a good size. The bed was comfortable. Walking through doors, was rarely greeted by the front desk, but not a big deal.

The hotel is just few steps away from the underground (Aldgate East), super convenient for tourists hop on the train, walkable distance to Tower bridge and Tower of London. Hop-on &Hop-off bus stop is also close by, if you choose to lay back to enjoy the city view and attractions without much walking. The staff work at the kitchen/ breakfast are super kind and friendly. I have to say they are hard workers and very decent. I appreciate their service & help during the stay
