Fine for the price

It's in a great location, right by Chalk Farm tube and minutes from Camden. This does mean that you're right on a busy main road, so it's very noisy if you sleep with the windows open, which we had to do as the room seemed excessively warm even with the heating off. The room was quite basic but clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was modern but had an old rickety sliding door, which was odd. This rattled against the wall when the windows were open. We were also woken up by the fire alarm going off at 6am. It turned off just as we had managed to get on clothes and shoes and get out of the room. On check out, there was no explanation or apology for this, which I didn't appreciate. On the whole, fine for the money, and a great location if you're going to gigs in Camden, but I doubt I'd stay there again unless I had no other option.

A great break

great location. Only 5 minutes from Chalk Farm Station underground. Clean and tidy. Very helpful staff. Only a few minutes away from Camden Market and nightlight. Newly decorated.

Good location but very basic room

Good location but the room was very basic. The overall quality of the hotell was quite low but the bed was reasonable comfortable. If you just looking for somewhere to sleep its fine but don't expect any extra. It was although reasonable priced

Spot on

Ideal location,staff very helpful and friendly.bags can be left secure before check in and after check out if needed. Clean and tidy and happy with price paid will stay there again very close to markets and really good bars love camden x

Perfect Hotel in London

This is a really nice hotel in london. camden market is very near (5 minutes walking distance). in front of the hotel is the underground-station chalk farm. the rooms are clean, staff is friendly and there is a nice restaurant in the same building with nice coffee and breakfast. And.. the price is good as well :) Enjoy!

Good value for money.

Excellent location for Camden and Primrose Hill.. Looks a bit scruffy outside and in public areas, but rooms are clean and the price is reasonable.

super für kurztrip

Meine Schwester und ich verbrachten 5 Tage in diesem Hotel und sind sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer war klein aber für einen Städtetrip reicht es. Wir hatten getrennte Betten in unserem Doppelzimmer, will man ein Doppelbett muss man das beim reservieren sagen. nun zu den positiven Punkten: + super Lage, nur 5-10min zu Fuss von Camden Town entfernt und mit einer U-Bahn Station in der Nähe. (Zone 2 im Underground-System von London) + ganz liebes Personal, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich + Badezimmer für Londoner-verhältnisse in Ordnung, klein aber nicht so, dass man sich kaum drehen kann, zum Duschen usw. reicht es problemlos. + Gratis-WLAN, das auch tadellos funktioniert + alles sehr sauber negativ fanden wir: - kein Safe im Zimmer - kein Aufzug Alles im allem ist das Hotel für einen Städtetrip sehr empfehlenswert.

Für ein paar Übernachtungen ideal

3 Nächte mit Frühstück, alles gut. Zimmer war im 3. Stock, ohne Aufzug = Kofferschleppen über viele Treppen. Kein Kleiderkasten, wenig Platz im Zimmer. Frühstück zweckmässig und gut. Zimmer in Ordnung, Pub nebenan laut bis tief in die Nacht, jedoch klar bei einer so super-zentralen Lage. Bus und U-Bahn ideal. Uns hats super gefallen im Camden Lock Hotel.

A conseiller

Je garderai un très bon souvenir de mon passage dans cet hôtel. Venu avec mon fils pour fêter ses 10 ans nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel. L'accueil est chaleureux, le personnel est tolérant et patient envers les personnes ne parlant pas très bien l'anglais... Les chambres sont correctes pour le prix, et l'emplacement est stratégiquement parfait pour les fans du quartier de Camden (dont je fais partie). Le petit déjeuner (continental ou anglais au choix) est très correct pour 5 £. En plus l’hôtel est quasiment face à la station de métro qui rejoint directement le centre de Londres en 10 ou 15 min. A recommander pour sillonner Londres de long en large.
