The Space:
My stylish 1 bedroom apartment is the perfect base when visiting London. Conveniently located in Mile End next to Bethnal Green, and with great transport links, you’ll be in a peaceful and leafy area but minutes from the centre of the city!
The living area is light and airy. Wood flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows give it a beautiful, modern feel, with plenty of natural light. There is a comfy, corner sofa and stylish reading lamp.
The open plan space includes a homely wooden dining table with a bench to enjoy your meals at. Adjacent, the kitchen area, is sleek and modern, with plenty of storage space and smooth countertops. It has everything you need should you want to cook up a meal or two, and easy appliances such as toaster, kettle, coffee machine, blender, and (always important on holiday) dishwasher!
A glass door leads out onto the charming little balcony, where you can enjoy a drink or a meal with views of the canal and the gorgeous green park.
The bedroom has a super comfortable double bed and is fitted with fresh, luxury linens to give you a wonderful night’s sleep. There is ample space in the wardrobe for your belongings, so you won’t have to live out of your suitcase; get unpacking and start feeling at home right away!
Freshen up in the lovely and modern bathroom - enjoy a soak in the large tub or wake up in the mornings with the fantastic shower. There is a large mirror and plenty of shelf space. White fluffy towels and shampoo are provided.
My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.

Guests have access to the entire apartment, including the lovely balcony!
The Neighborhood:
Mile End and Bethnal Green in East London are vibrant neighbourhoods, with amazingly varied attractions and really relaxed, trendy vibe. Well known and must sees include Victoria Park (a 2 minute walk from the apartment!) where you’ll find lakes and fountains, a Chinese pagoda and more in 86 sprawling hectares of greenery. A short walk or bus ride away is the Victoria & Albert Museum of Childhood, which exhibits artefacts and a peak into the life of Victorian era children. On Sundays, visit the Columbia Road Flower Market, a bustling market where vendors hawk beautiful blooms and pot plants. The market street is surrounded by independent fashion, antique and homeware stores, as well as a ton of delicious cafes, restaurants, and sweet bakeries. Jump on the number 8 bus (the stop is around the corner on Roman Road) and get to Shoreditch High Street and Brick lane in a matter of minutes! There’s so much to do here, given the abundance of trendy shops, cafes, and pop up bars, as well as famous Brick Lane market with food stalls from all over the world.
There are also some great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the apartment. Palmers Restaurant is run by a father-son team and serves modern European dishes. The Crown just on the edge of Victoria Park has a classic pub feel, with beer garden, terraces, and vintage decor. The Palm Tree is a cosy pub just across the canal, with live jazz at the weekends. Or try Nola, a stylish and trendy cocktail bar with period fittings and a great lineup of live bands.
There are also plenty of local amenities, including a Simply Fresh grocery store, Massingham Chemist, and Destina Supermarket (with cash point) all on Roman Road.
Getting Around:
Mile End tube station is the nearest station to the property, just a 12 minute walk away. This connects you to the Central, District, and Hammersmith & City lines, meaning you can get to iconic London sites in no time at all, such as Oxford Circus (in 15 minutes!), Tottenham court Road, St Paul’s Cathedral, Notting Hill and the Barbican Centre, as well as transport hubs such as Euston and Victoria station. Exploring London could hardly be easier!
