On arrival at 8pm was told isn’t wasn’t possible to check in and needed to wait as the manager had gone to the shop, by the time the manager arrived back with primark bag in hand the reception area was full of people wanting to check in or collect luggage. What is the point of leaving someone to man the reception area who has limited English and couldn’t actually help anyone

Filthy plc will not recommend. beds extremely old and don’t get there 10mins before ur time u will not get into ur room

The check-in and check out are easy. To check-in I showed my passport, they made a scan, showed my reserve number and then I got the room keys. The room is clean, and someone comes clean the room about every 2 days at 10 AM. She will change my towel and my bed, and probably sweep the floor. I got a single private room, with a fridge, a wardrobe, and also a bath towel, a dish, folk, spoon, knife, cup. The only problem is that I hear people in the corridor coming in and out of the rooms. The bathroom, toilet room, laundry, and kitchen are shared. It have a lift. Each floor have a bathroom for men, other for women, 4 kitchens, 2 mixed toilet room, other toilet for men and for women. The laundry is only at floor 1. They have also a shared room with a computer and television that I never entered. The bathrooms are clean and have 4 showers, I never needed to wait. The toilet room was clean every day. The toilet drains little water and needs a long time to fill. Sometimes I had to use the toilet brush to push the poop in to the toilet drain, because it never flush. It have a litter to put the paper. The kitchen have a cooker, microwave, toaster, electric boiler, litter and sink with liquid soap and sponge. The boiler was dirty from inside, all the other things are clean. The hotel doesn't provide a pan. The kitchen is clean, but later sometimes other guest left it dirty. The laundry have 2 washing machines and 2 for drying. To wash is 3£, to dry is 3£. Not include the powder.

When I checked in I got the room 1st floor near the reseption, but in a minute I realized I can hear clearly every word spoken in the lobby. So I asked if I can have a room somewhere higher, and it was possible. Very happy about that! Hotel's location was good (near Hammersmith tube station) and neigbourhood was peaceful. I was able to keep window open without any traffic noise (actually at first evening there were birds singing somewhere near, which was nice welcome). The bed was comfortable (room could have been more clean, I didn't want to touch anything but maybe it's just over hygienic me) and I liked the fridge so I was able to store my breakfast things. Own bathroom was also good to have (though there were cup of water in the trash bin...) There were kitchens at the aisle where I used the toaster. But because of other guests the kitchens weren't that clean. And my neighbours next door didn't realize the walls are paper thin so one night I started my night with earplugs. And at first night there were a fire alarm at 1 am! I didn't quite get out of my room when the alarm went off. In the morning I asked and was told that some guest had lighted a cigarette... Fortunately that didn't happen again!
