We have been going to South Point since it's opening and in the beginning it was like a very nice local casino. However, it's been several years since our last stay and it was amazing at the transformation since. It is now like a strip casino with huge crowds and the slot machines that are very un-local. The hotel room is still very nice and love the buffet.

The food is exceptional at all the restaurants. Large room with table to play cards, 2 easy chairs with ottoman. Bring your own Keurig coffee pods, their off-brand pods are awful. Comfortable bed, felt new. Our new go-to hotel in LV.

My husband and I stayed here on our way from Colorado to California for a family holiday visit, this was a stopping point to relax and enjoy our drive and not be rushed. This property has everything in one place, so nice and friendly. Gambling was fun and the food and service was wonderful. We didn’t get to go do all the amenities it offers but it is great that there is so much to do other than gambling. Bowling alley, the cinema, the spa/salon and so much more.

Room wasn't cleaned the entire week I was there. Towels not replaced. They barged in on me on the last day though before I left. Property is old. Grout and tile in hotel room bathrooms is horrible and super dirty. No telling what color the grout was under the quarter inch of filth. Buffet was over priced and disgusting. Made me sick, and I don't get sick ever. I didn't even gamble, but you have to walk a mile through the casino to get anywhere and observed nobody really hitting any slots or anything. Keep an eye on the Vegas news, you will see them emploding this joke sooner rather than later I would hope. Don't waste your time or money here.

I think the service was very good and they responded quickly to our requests for more towels and to clean the tub's drain of hair. Our room's floor could use a mopping as our white socks soon changed color on the bottom. If you are not seated in the buffet during the discount hours they will not give you the price even if you were wanting in the line to be seated. Pillows were flat and another lumpy but they also bought another to us quickly. Not in taxi zone for airport

Love how sound proof the room is! Even the restroom (which is great for taking quiet showers before others have woken up). House keeping cleaned our room every day (it was so nice climbing into a freshly made bed every night). The one thing I'd recommend to the hotel/casino is to make the walkway from the front entrance to the hotel room elevators in the back, tile or laminate flooring, instead of carpet. After a long day of flying and then waiting on the rental car, it felt like an impossible task to drag 2 suitcases each on carpet. If not, maybe have a bellhop with a cart to help guests transport their stuff after check-in. Valet parking was great! Love that it's complimentary (which you never see anywhere else). They definitely earn their tips with their speedy service. 5 stars
