Checking in to The Venetian was better than expected. There was a long line, but there were about 12 reservation team members that were prompt and the young lady that assisted me was very pleasant and informative. I do have something to say though about the general staff throughout the hotel. I was lost and asked many employees along my journey to find my way sometimes. They are familiar with the hotel and perhaps they forget guests may not be. I was pointed where to head when I asked how to get somewhere. Pointing led me to look at a huge space with a maze of slot machines. Overwhelming and that technique doesn’t work. I walked in circles and was also told I was at The Palazzo. I thought I was in The Venetian and it took about 4 people to tell me there are 2 sides within The Venetian. Once I fumbled my way back to The Venetian side I was back on track. If that happens anywhere again, I will simply request Security and get an escort! My room was amazing and very comfortable and I had a nice view of Sphere! I slept well in a comfortable bed and felt pampered just by the layout, decor and cleanliness. I would stay there again!

Outstanding in every way!
Everything about our stay was exceptional, including the walkway to the Sphere, and the Foreigner show within the hotel. We never left the property - no need to! Great restaurants and shops all along the canal and St. Marks. The step-down living space in the suite made for a very special feel, and the room appointments were exceptional.

Our upgrade to the South Tower turned out to be a lot of construction noise and activity. They did compensate for the noise. Housekeeping did not show up one day. Yo get assistance on the phone was a huge challenge. 5-star apparently didn't include towels or writing pads. Fitness center was limited unless you wanted to pay $100. It's a very large hotel and there are kinks that are just not handled all that well.
