They were short staffed always. No room when I checked in. They sent me to another hotel luxor which was very poorly managed too. Very unmanaged and short staffed. How can you not have a room available for a confirmed booking? They made me stay in the checkin que for 2 hours after traveling 6 hours flight. And then sent me to another hotel for a night where I had to attend the conference at 6.45 am in the morning in mgm grand conference center.

The breakfast and staff were excellent. Most of the rest of the staff were friendly and eager to help. What was disappointing was that we spent much of our short stay trying to arrange a car rental because, when asked at the check-in desk (not at check-in) if there is a rental business in the hotel she told us no but we could ask the valet outside the front door. This we did not do as he was occupied and we were too tired to wait. Now here's the kicker ... as we are in the lineup to check out of the hotel the next morning, we noticed the car rental sign at the end of the counter close to the exit doors. My blood boiled! We only had a day and a half stay in the city as a result of our original flight being cancelled at the last minute, and too much of my time was spent trying to find a car to rent (which you might understand if you've ever tried online sites and are older like me). I left with a sour taste in my mouth with the disappointing service.

Checked in went to the room and it hadn't been cleaned from the prior guests who stayed before us, I called the front desk and they fixed the problem. We changed to an upgraded room. Other than that it was a nice stay.
