We stayed in an “upgraded” room that faced Freemont St, it was the noisiest room that I have ever stayed in. The sounds from the bands playing on the street were incredibly loud until 2:00am.

Great hotel, ask about location of your room
The hotel itself was good - staff was friendly & helpful, room was clean, etc. The only complaint I have is the loud music coming up from Fremont St. I was on the 25th floor & the ear plugs provided still didn't block out the sound (a band played both nights until 2am). This won't stop me from staying here again, but I will be sure to ask for a room that doesn't face the noise.

We stayed in Room 1706. This room has not been dusted in a while. The bathroom faucets and sinks were not cleaned. The shower is missing a seal where the door hinge is. So every time we showered water would leak all over the floor. We have stayed at the Golden Nugget in the past with no issues. The room was very disappointing for our 44th anniversary!

We had a rough time here. It seems like it should be a clean place and then you get to your room. The shower hasn’t had a good scrubbing in what looks like decades. I could chip off the buildup on the bottom of the tub. The head of the shower desperately needed as well. The water did get really nice and hot and excellent water pressure. Our big problem was coming back to our room, late at night, and the ceiling by the bed was leaking. I don’t know for how long. They moved us and claimed they would refund a night, but I haven’t verified that yet. The room we were moved to had no shower curtain liner, which I didn’t realize until I was in there, and the bathroom floor was flooded. Overall, I wouldn’t stay again. It’s just really ages and is in need of a lot of updating and proper cleaning.
