This place is nice and quiet, like all key west, this is an older place but really well kept. A little bit far from Duval Street but walkable, 15 min approx. parking is an issue too
We overall had a great stay. We normally stay at heron house and not the court. We have stayed multiple times at the other location with our service animals.
The first morning after arriving, I wake up to a voicemail from the front desk about our service animals. I went to speak to the front desk and he claims I didn’t tell him about the service animals and it’s for everyone’s safety.
I told him I messaged the property via this app as I AÑWAYS do and then he started to tell
Me it was him and had to be the other hotel. I told him not would he like to see the messages and he said no. I also told him the dogs have their identification on and we always bring a service sign for the door of the hotel room.
It was unnecessary and uncomfortable. The other location embraces the services animals and this one does not.
It made enough of an impact, that we will make sure to only stay at the other non Court location.
Otherwise the stay was fine. They do lock up the ice machine so none of the guest can get ice. So odd. Also limited offerings of water so I went to the hotel next door where we have stayed and they gave us water.
The host was amazing and friendly, overall a fantastic experience. Additionally, he gave great advice on things in key west to do. The building is a bit older but in great condition. The only downside is parking as you have to ensure it is not residential and might have to walk a little bit.
The rooms were very unique.
Roman was very nice and helpful.
The only issue we had was the slamming of the doors...
Some people have no respect for others.
Thanks so much Sally & Pat 😊
Roman was so pleasant from the get-go and allowed us to check in early to drop off our bags. He gave us the quick tour and showed us where to park. We came back a little later in the afternoon and I had overindulged and he ran to the store to get me some water to drink and hydrate. If you are looking for the perfect spot for quiet and off the beaten path with tremendous hosts, you have found the place. They are only a few blocks from the waterfront, but a good trek to Duval.

Overall somewhat comfortable stay
Overall i really liked this place nice and quiet very friendly helpful service! On the downside the pool was very disappointing and appeared smaller than what the pictures shown and was very very dirty! The room was clean bathrooms and floors were clean those arw things i pay attention to. The pillows were absolutely terrible i had a stiff neck the next day..very flat old worn out and uncomfortable. I was promised by staff a month or so im advance to be placed in a little bit of a bigger nicer room and i was put in this very little room. I did not like how small the room was and was also right next to the ice machine so that was fun hearing it being used all morning walls were very thin...pictures on website were a bit misleading. But the staff was very friendly and super helpful. Was a quiet peaceful area to be staying in otherwise. Bedding pillows and sheets could use a bit of updating.

The ice was locked up 😩 and the weekend check in staff left something to be desired but the weekly desk clerk (Roman) was so friendly and helpful! Loved the gluten free breakfast options!
This hotel was in very poor condition, rooms were awful for the expensive rate. No coffee machine, no glasses for water. Plastic shower cubicles with plastic cheap shower curtains.
Just the worst place ever.
The employees from the front desk to the service employees are friendly and helpful. Is only adult little hotel for a great gateway. Everything is a walking distance. The pool is a plus. Great place to staying if yours first time in the Keys.
Booked here for my birthday weekend with my husband . Roman was very nice the first day . When we went to take showers at night we had no hot water and woke up to the same. The girl who was working the front desk the following day was beyond unapproachable , rude and unfriendly . Seriously should not be working with the public . This, btw , was not only our experience but other guests felt the same . The pool was full of leaves so it wasn’t an option at any time of our 3 day stay and we had maybe two showers of tolerable temperature. I won’t be booking here again . The room was spacious but literally right next to the front check in desk which made it awkward. I guess the morning manager did not check if we were in the room because he even opened our door to see if anyone was in there .
Front desk staff were clueless! At first they told me I didn't have a reservation as I am showing them my confirmation. After a few minutes she said my reservation is at a different property but couldn't tell me where??? After several more minutes she "finds" my existing reservation at the location we are at. She was ready to send us packing. The room was cute, the pool was nice. The AC in our room did not do a thing to manage the temp. It was hot! This tiny little window unit on the floor is not big enough for the room. Miserable time trying to sleep. I highly advise staying away from this property. Spend the money on something a little more reputable.
