“Ardmore” is a stunning luxury 3 bedroom (2 en suite) detached bungalow in a superb location and enjoys sea or mountain views from all rooms. It is finished, furnished and equipped to the highest standards and fully deserves its 5 star rating from the Scottish Tourist Board (their highest award). There are extensive private gardens to the rear with loads of parking for several cars
Located in the village of Broadford, the second largest settlement on Skye, Ardmore is within easy walking distance of local restaurants, pubs, shops etc. Broadford is an ideal centre from which to tour all of Skye and Wester Ross.

Lounge - The lounge is spacious and from the bay window there are excellent views over the bay and Kinloch hills. It seats six people with ease and features a solid oak floor and a feature limestone fireplace. For entertainment there is a 47 inch television with Sky, a DVD player and a supply of DVDs and CDs.

Bedrooms 1 And 2 - Both these double bedrooms have spacious en suite facilities and enjoy panoramic views over Broadford Bay and the red Cuillins. Bedroom 1 has a king size four poster bed. Bedroom 2 has a king size sleigh bed. Both rooms are supplied with hairdryers and flat screen TVs.

Bedroom 3 - Bedroom 3 is a twin room with magnificent views of the Red Cuillins. A hairdrier and flat screen tv are provided.

Kitchen - The kitchen is fully equipped and fitted out with quality solid wood units. The appliances (cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher) are Neff and all are integrated. There is also a microwave oven and flat screen tv. A table and chairs are provided for those who wish to breakfast in the kitchen rather than in the formal dining room.

Dining Room - The dining room has French doors which open onto a large patio. A gas barbeque and garden furniture are provided for those who enjoy “the great outdoors”.

Utility Room - The utility room has a washing machine and tumble drier

Bathroom - The outstanding feature of the main bathroom is the roll top freestanding bath.
During your stay at this cottage, you're just a quick walk from Magpie. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cottage.

Perfect Week in Skye
We are so thankful we booked this property. It was spacious, well appointed and better than the pictures. Sunrises and Sunsets were beautiful over the water and mountain. The views were fantastic and Ian was a delight to communicate with. Especially for food recommendations, which we appreciated. Broadford had everything we needed and was central to all our travels. We were able to walk to the end of the road for food and a very short walk to access to the beach to explore tide pools each night. We had a sunny week with no midges and would absolutely return.

Lovely large property for family stay
We had a super stay at Ardmore cottage. The 3 bed property was much larger than expected, was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for self catering stay. Broadford is a great base for exploring Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh and we would happily stay at Ardmore again.

This was the perfect stay on the isle of Skye and the host Ian was amazing. His home has tons of room, all conveniences is perfectly situated for day trips on both the Isle on the rest of the western Highlands. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ardmore. It was beautiful and really made our holiday extra special. It was extremely clean, welcoming and very spacious. We were touched by the welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and fruit which was greatly appreciated after our long journey. It’s in a perfect location for exploring the picturesque Isle of Skye with places to eat nearby as well as a very convenient supermarket and petrol station. Everything had been thought of and we felt totally at home, so much so, we did not want to leave. It has set the bar high for any future accommodation booked elsewhere. Ardmore is located in the perfect position on Skye. It is quiet but close to all the necessary ameneties which are needed for a holiday. Lots of lovely walks nearby, and the cottage is very comfortable to relax in after a long day in the country side.

Great Location for exploring Skye and boating
The property is a credit to the owner, we had a great time. Milk, sugar coffee, tea, and a bag of ice etc waiting for us on arrival, also a lovely basket of fresh fruit, we cannot fault the property. Ample parking and a quality outdoor hose pipe was great for hosing my Rib down after a trip out to sea. We met Ian the owner who was lovely.

Ardmore is simply a stunning property, it has absolutely everything you need, it is spacious, classy and warm... even in mid February, the views from the cottage are breathtaking. It is in a great location, quiet but near enough to walk to restaurants and a perfect base for exploring the island. The owner Ian was welcoming and friendly, he went out of his way to come and help us.. even in the pouring rain! He regaled us with a couple of funny stories and recommendations for restaurants and local walks. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Great place for a Christmas break
We stayed for 7-days over Christmas 2021 and had a wonderful time. A beautifully presented property in an ideal location for touring. Everything was spot-on, just as listed, couldn't fault it. Very warm and cosy especially considering it was winter. The Christmas tree and decorations were a really nice touch and much appreciated. The Isle of Skye was stunning as expected - we were quite surprised just how quiet the roads were as we thought there would be more tourists (like us!) having Christmas breaks there. We would highly recommend Ard More to anyone.
