Perfect for a cheap overnight stay

Hotel.is perfect for a cheap one night stay for a gig or event. It is very tired and a bit run down and shabby, but comfy enough and good value for money.

The location is great. It's right next to Glasgow Central and 5-10 minutes walk from anywhere in the center. I had hoped for an early arrival option, but i did have to wait until 3pm to check in. The room shook occasionally from either trains or vehicles gojng past. Not too bothersome though. Room was a little cramped (had to trun sideways to move betwen the desk and bed). Overall fair value for the price.

Nice location - make sure room is in main building

Very nice location. Beautiful surroundings and establishment. Only disappointment was lack of hot water in bath/shower. We stayed in the extension wing (room 402) and even tho I ran the hot water in the tub for 15 minutes the morning we left - it never got better tham marginally lukewarm.

Good for 1 night stay. Rooms are noisy. Feels vibration in room when vehicle pass through the road. Staff is supportive and polite.

The staff were very friendly and offered great recommendations for things to do around town. The location was very convenient being right across the street from the station and close to local restaurants and shops. The building was older so there were some stains in the carpets and the building would shake every so often. Coffee was very good and the complimentary breakfast options were perfect. The bed was two twin mattresses pushed together and was not as enjoyable for two people. Overall, we had a great stay.

Hotel is in a city center, close to the main train and bus station, very good option for staying overnight. First entrance in the hotel was very welcoming and warm thanks to hotel recepcionist Mintu who was extraordinary and patient helping us in any way possible. He is at the same time very modest and has considered his help as part of his everyday job. We truly think that such employees as Mintu are precious and hope that owners shall appreciate his loyalty and proffesionalism and give him a raise because he really deserves it....Best regards from group of friends from Split, Croatia

Second visit

So conveniently located for the station, shopping & nightlife. Because of this, it can get noisy. Parts of the rooms are a little tired but it’s viral and the staff are helpful. It’s the second time I’ve stayed and would happily stay again

Noise?

There were roadworks directly outside the hotel until 2am outside the hotel (a Sunday night), nobody warned us or offered us to move rooms...the windows were paper thin so this was heard until it stopped. Had a pretty bad sleep because of this. Upon checkout staff shooed us away before we had a chance to say it, and I emailed about this 4 weeks ago and nobody cared to respond. Room itself was ok, few stains

Good location. Main areas were lovely but the room carpet was dirty, bits were broken and needed DIY. Room smelt of TCP which worried me about the reasons!
