The staff at this hotel are exceptional. Their kindness and friendly nature are so wonderfyl to experience. The room was spotless and the beds are very comfy. Excellent stay!

2nd visit so far - fave choice by now

Rooms are very comfortable, a good size and the bathroom is great. The bar and restaurant are pretty decent, though a bit on the pricey side but the staff are the ones who deserve the best praise - reception/bar/cleaning staff are all very friendly and helpful and welcoming.

Comfortable room, was a charge for breakfast. Had dinner whilst there for 2 night which wasnt great tho staff was very nice in restaurant. Easy 20 min walk into city centre

We needed last minute reservations and they accommodated us. We actually got nicer rooms than we booked. The only bad thing was the lunch service. It took about 45 minutes. We ordered toasted sandwiches which came out cold and not toasted. How hard is it to make a toasted sandwich?

The stay was very pleasant. Breakfast had a very good selection of food. Would have been nice to have a toilet bowl brush in bathroom!!!

Great comfortable sppt

Conveniently located not too far from Edinburgh Castle and other areas. We walked most of the time it’s only a mile or so to some of the farther places you might want to go. One really nice perk was the breakfast. It was a nice selection with a full Scottish breakfast available and plenty of pastry/bread options as well.
