Everything here was terrific, even the parking situation worked out fine in spite of the limited off-street spaces available (we parked within a block on-street both nights with no issues). Best gym facility of the seven 4star properties we stayed in during our time in Scotland. Very helpful, pleasant staff, comfortable room, lovely location.

Lovely hotel with great pool and spa area. Unfortunately, we did not sleep due to the noise from the floorboards from the room above us. It was very loud and could hear every step they were taking. The noise was the same in the hallway. There is very limited parking for the size of the hotel, they can give you a permit for a car park that is a further walk away. Overall a nice looking hotel but due to the lack of sleep I would not return.

Myself and my husband had a lovely 2 nights here. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent, staff extremely friendly, professional and helpful. The pool, sauna and steam room were all extremely clean as was the rest of the hotel. Looking forward to booking our next visit!

Located right along the River Ness, this is a beautiful hotel. Easy access to dining and shopping and tours of the city, Loch Ness, and Isle of Skye. A lovely place!

Great location, great hotel

We stayed for one night and the hotel was in a perfect spot to everything. Shops, dining & pubs were all within a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the scenery from the front door was amazing! The hotel has a great restaurant and the breakfast buffet was fantastic!

Please refurbish me!

The hotel charges a lot of money and needs urgent refurbishment. My mattress was so worn out I sunk into the mattress. The showers are old and the pressure of water is minimal. The only thing going for the hotel is the staff who are really nice and attentive. Otherwise it needs an urgent modernization!

The "palace" on the outside is historically beautiful. The old stone building is worth the visit. The outdoor seating next to the Ness River is wonderful. The walkability over the Ness Bridge into old Inverness is great. Castle is right there along with other historical sites. Inverness seems like a pretty awesome city. The rooms are typical Best Western rooms that you can rent in the US for $100/night. This room cost us $450/night. Had I known that it wouldn't be "luxurious" as described on-line, I would not have stayed. The description is very deceiving. But the outside of the building and surrounding area is wonderful.

We had an amazing time in Inverness, thanks to the lovely team at Best Western. Ale at the front desk was so friendly and kind. She was able to book us into a last-minute room after our first accommodations at a different hotel fell through. The rooms were lovely, and provided great views of the river. The daily breakfast was a great add-on and had a beautiful view from the restaurant. We will gladly be back again!

Nice old-style hotel, very well maintained. We really liked the high ceiling, the archer in the room, beautiful stucco moldings, the feeling and atmosphere. In the morning, we enjoyed a tasty breakfast. The staff is kind and willing to help. We enjoyed our staying there.
